BOXER SPOTLIGHT: PEPSI

Hi! My name is Pepsi! While I do not have an official foster home yet, I did get transported by and stay with a rescue volunteer a few times so she was able to learn some things about me! I am a beautiful 8 year old girl with the energy of a young pup! I am playful and love doing zoomies in the backyard or through the house. I love car rides and will jump right in ready to hit the road! I am crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. I walk right into my crate with no hassle and sleep in it through the night. I love cuddling on the couch but am also just as happy to just curl up at the human's feet. I have the typical goofy Boxer personality and do the cutest head tilt when the humans talk to me. I got to meet the volunteer's chihuahua who does not like other dogs and was non reactive to him. I have not met any cats so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I am polite and do not jump on people which could make me suitable for small children! The volunteer says I was "an absolute joy to have in her home" and I think you would agree if I was a part of your home! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: FIELDGOAL

Hi! My name is Fieldgoal! I am a handsome 8 to 9 year-old unique flashy brindle boy that is an adopted return owner surrender due to changes in my family dynamics, and my owner doesn't have the time or means to care for me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, and affectionate! It is said that I am unpredictable with small dogs. When on walks, I will react to them and the few times I've gotten away I ran up to them and was curious. I have been around toddler family members and am said to be kid friendly. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly and a proper meet and greet would be best. I am house trained, crate trained (will rush in if given a treat), and at night I sleep on the couch, in my crate, or next to the human's bed. I have basic command obedience training and know sit, crate, good boy, down, treat, water, and off! If the humans must be away, I am ok. My owner is sometimes away for 8-10 hours at a time and there are rare times that I would bark but do well otherwise! When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. There was an instance a gate had fallen, and I helped myself to a leisure run and then came back home. I do not like small animals, thunder, or fireworks. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, running, going for 2-mile walks, plush toys, and pushing past other dogs to the front of the line to be the center of attention! Angus II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Angus! I am a handsome 10 year old flashy fawn senior boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner moving and unable to keep me. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure and ask about it because there are many perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly and affectionate! I currently live with another dog and am said to do well with it! I am very tolerant of it and its puppy behavior and messing with my ears all of the time. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There is an 11 year old child in my home and I am sweet and do very well with him! I am house trained, crate trained, very obedient, and sleep wherever I am told to stay. If the humans must be away I sleep and patiently await their arrival. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing fetch, sleeping, eating, and getting affection from the humans! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: ROXY VI

Hi, I'm Roxy! Don't let my petite size or age fool you. I am full of personality and powered by a tail that never stops wagging!

I am equal parts cuddle bug and adventure buddy. Whether it's snuggling on the coach or hopping in for a car ride, I am happiest right by your side.

I love my stuffed toys and at night I sleep in my crate or my dog bed, taking a stuffed toy with me for company. I will promptly walk to the back door when I need to go potty. I have a healthy appetite and a quiet presence. I do not bark or jump when visitors arrive; rather I will approach them slowly and expect some pets, scratches behind the ear or a hug!

I am medium energy and enjoy observing the activities in my surroundings. I'm leash savvy and gently fascinated when bikers, joggers, and other dogs pass by.

I am friendly with kids and love treats. My favorite hangout is a patch of grass to sunbathe or a porch to hang out with the humans.

I am a loyal companion with a big heart in a small package!

Rocky XII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Rocky XII ! I am a beautiful 5 year old flashy brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to my family moving and unable to take me with them. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, and affectionate! I am dog selective and get along with the dog I currently live with but do not like dogs that I see on my walks or at dog parks. I have lived with a cat and due to my dislike of it, a cat free home is needed please! I currently live with 2 kids (ages 12 and 14 years old) and I am very friendly with kids! I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my crate. If the humans must be away, I react fine being alone. When outside I do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates but am able to jump kiddie gates if given the opportunity. I am not a fan of baths but some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing, and stuffed animals! BOXER SPOTLIGHT: XENA

Xena is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Xena! I am a beautiful 10-year-old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to changes in my family's dynamics, them moving, and have no place to keep me. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart Program so be sure and ask about it because there are many perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, calm, playful, quiet, and affectionate! I live with another dog and am said to be dog friendly. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I currently live with three kids (ages 7 months, 12 and 15 years) and do well with them! I would need assistance learning house and crate training manners in my new home. I sleep inside and if the humans must be away, I am good being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I love playing and sleeping and would love to have a forever family that lets me do both! BOXER SPOTLIGHTL SOPHIE V

Sophie V is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Sophie! I am a beautiful 10 year old flashy brindle lady that is searching for my forever home with my son Bruno VII! We are very bonded and go where the other goes so it's important we be adopted together! I am a proud member of the Silver Heart Program so be sure and ask about it because there are many perks for my adoptive family! Prior to coming to the rescue Bruno and I were living with our owner in his car after we lost our mom and home and our dad's health was failing. We have since settled into a foster home and are thriving! I will get excited and am learning not to jump, am not interested in toys or treats, do well with baths, enjoy car rides but need help getting in, and enjoy playing with Bruno (and I can keep up with him too)! I have only been around Bruno so it is uncertain if I am dog friendly beyond our bond. We have never lived with a cat but am said to be kid friendly! I am house trained but hate going out in the rain and prefer a human to go with me. I will go in my crate for a piece of cheese and am quiet but I prefer not to be in it. Although I am very active for my age, I am a well behaved lady and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful of storms and will go sit by the humans and tremble.
