✨It’s time to get the🔥fastest🔥zoomieeeesssss for our Floof of the month 🐻Brown bear!!!!🐻

Likes: Rolling around in the grass🌱☀️
Dislikes: Bug spray ☠️🦟
Go-to Floof service: Overnights😴🏡

Brown Bear might have fastest zoomies, but did you know he’s ALSO the slowest to come back inside? 🤯 This dynamic king can do it all: bring the heat 🔥 and soak it up for hours ☀️ If you’re lucky enough to witness one of his magnificent zoomie session’s, be sure to move out of his way🚨 this strong boy comes in like a lightning wrecking ball and will narrowly avoid you 99% of the time, but we don’t wanna see the impact from that 1% 🫣💪🔥 However, don’t be fooled by this handsome boy’s brawn, he’s got the brain too 🤓!!!! You can catch him on a lazy Sunday solving a treat puzzle, or perhaps gobbling up some frozen blueberries (they’re a superfood, you know)🤔🫐 His interest in lizards is strictly for science🦎✍️, chasing them around the yard for *ahem* research purposes. We think the research might be “what do they taste like?”, but Brown Bear is very private about his work👨‍💻📈🤤 When he’s not busy exercising his his litany of skills, he indulges in his true love of ✨lounging✨ Peak coziness is his top priority, and he’s not afraid to join you in bed and make himself comfortable. Don’t be surprised if you wake up to find him sleeping peacefully on the pillow next to you 🥰💤 After all, a boy this beautiful must get his beauty rest💅💋

Today, we’d like to take a moment to honor one of our Floof Club members, sweet baby Solo Cat 💛🌈

Solo, aka Tiny Cat, went from surviving on the streets to thriving in a home that consisted of all-you-can-drink water cups, endless laps and blankets to curl up on, and, most importantly, infinite love and boundless adoration 💞 When Solo first joined the Club, she would chase treats down the hallway, and you could watch her perfect little belly swing side to side as she ran. As she got older, she was allowed to go outside in the mornings, where she would peacefully watch the butterflies fly by 🦋 Not everyone can slip into royalty as smoothly as Solo (shoutout Princess Mia Thermopolis), but she took full advantage and showed endless gratitude for her new life with her humans. She was affectionate with all of her sitters, and despite her resting mean mug, she only had a soft side to show.

Solo, we love you and are going to miss you so much! Between your big owl eyes, zest for life, and your ability to be the perfect tiny weighted blanket, your absence will leave a big hole in our hearts. Rest easy, baby girl. 💛🌈✨

Get your best treats out for our sitter of the month 👑Sarah!!!!!👑

✨This month we learned all about her floofs😻, sweet sleepover stories😴, and why she loves being a sitter🥰🥲!!! (And so much more🤩)

1️⃣ Who was the first soul-animal in your life?
I had been begging my parents for a cat for as long as I could remember, and on my sixth birthday, my dreams finally came true. I named her in the car on the way to pick her up from her foster family before ever knowing what she looked like, and it must have been a soul-connection, because I called her “Marbles” and she turned out to be a black-and-orange tortoiseshell, so the name fit her coloring perfectly. Marbles was my beloved cat through so many stages of life from childhood until my first year working after graduating college, and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

2️⃣ What’s your favorite pet sitting story?
I love finding out all the different ways pups like to cuddle and snuggle on overnight stays. I got a big surprise the first time I woke up to a dog tucked under the covers with his head on the pillow next to me like a tiny mirror image of myself!

3️⃣ Do you currently have pets? Tell us about them!
I have two pets: Mantou is our 12-year-old male long-haired white cat who is perpetually grumpy and all too aware of how beautiful he is. Brisket is our 5-year-old male chihuahua/shih tzu/dachshund mix with an underbite that just won’t quit! We adopted Mantou from our friends who are wildlife documentary filmmakers in China. “Mantou” is a traditional steamed white bun in Chinese cuisine. When we moved to Austin and adopted our dog, we figured we should stick with the local cuisine naming convention! And yes, Mantou and Brisket are good friends (mostly because Brisket is smart enough to show Mantou the respect he deserves!).

4️⃣ Why do you pet sit?
Gaining the trust of an animal friend is such a rewarding experience. Making sure their basic needs are met and providing a little companionship and receiving their unconditional love in return? Where else can you find that kind of return on investment!

Feeling like you can see the world through rose colored🩷… Binoculars👁️? Noticing every detail with a whimsical point of view🧐😍? Well, that’s probably because it’s LIBRA SZNNNNN!!!!!!♎️💖🥰

✨These charming air signs are fair, balanced, and pay attention to details⚖️✍️. When your Libra floof seems to be following you everywhere👁️, handing you their favorite toys🎾, and giving you kisses every .2 seconds💋💋💋, they are simply showering you with their endless charm… They can’t help it😻! Their sense of justice if fulfilled by matching the endless love you give them, so it’s only fair🥰👩‍⚖️! The need for fairness that drives the Libra will have them looking in the trees and considering the squirrel’s point of view🤔🐿️, or daydreaming about the mailman and how he must feel about the endless barking he’s met with every day💌☁️. As long as you give your floof a cozy, aesthetically-pleasing room to lounge and let their mind wander in, they will be happy🧸💭😴
