Restoring this Dandie Dinmont's coat has been a pleasant surprise! Sometimes it can take months or a year to bring color back but after 2 sessions her mustard color came shining through! This groom filled my cup. Do you have grooms that fill your cup? Tell me about your experience!

When you feel like you hit a stall in grooming go take a class from a master. Even though I've been in the breed of westies for over decade I learned so much from Celso Mollo this past weekend. I'm an educator but always a student. These are my before and after of my boy who I just showed the previous weekend in Houston.

Here are some photos of my week at the Houston World Series of Dog Show and Groom Texas. What a week! My puppies did great for their 1st real dog show and Champagne pick up 2 majors for total of 8 points! Tully won every placement of the NOHS Terrier Group. No love for Bubbly but she showed her heart out 🥰 so proud of Courtney and Amy winning 2nd place in intermediate Wire class .

I have to say that one of the highlights of the weekend was having co-workers from the sister salon come and experience their 1st dog show. The excitement and joy was so refreshing! Beano and Andy were a tremendous help not knowing anything about prepping show Westies but jumped right in all hands on deck. Can thank yall enough for your help!

I got to have a fun week with my great friend Kat aka Dog Show Wife and with our westie crew. Kat you have the biggest heart and a gift for giving your all at these shows.

I didnt get photos of my class, the demos I did nor me teaching it (major fail) but I had a blast! Thank you all who came and supported my class!

Hands down Im claiming this to be my favorite show. Groom Texas deserves a standing ovation for their show. You can tell that they put their heart and soul into this show. They took this show from a second thought to a gorgeous show! As a speaker I was truly spoiled! Robin and Judy and team well done!

Im completely exhausted but my heart is full from a great week!
