If you know Peached Pups, you know Lorrie (aka Bean)
Our CEO, original model, inspiration behind it all, and most importantly, the best dog I have ever had the privilege of loving and calling mine.
On Friday, we had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to our sweet girl.
Peached Pups quite literally would not exist without her. For all these years, she has been right beside me through every part of it.
When I first shared Lorrie’s cancer diagnosis here, I was scared and looking for any advice I could find. So many of you reached out and shared your own experiences with canine cancer, things that had helped your dogs, and things I could look into for Lorrie. I took so much of that advice with me throughout her treatment, and I truly believe some of the things I learned from this community helped give us more time with her.
She fought long and hard for nearly two years after her diagnosis. Those two years mean more to us than I could ever put into words. So to everyone who messaged me, commented, shared something that helped your own dog, checked in on her, or simply rooted for her along the way, thank you. You were part of her story, too.
So many of you have been here long enough to know Lorrie, love seeing her, ask about her, and follow along with her life.
There will never be another CEO of Peached Pups. That title will always belong to Lorrie.
Thank you for loving our girl and letting her be a little part of your lives, too. She was the reason this all started, and she will always be the heart of it.
