We had a pawsitive return to daycare this week. I loved rolling into this new season with your pups and kitties.

It has been such a wonderful summer at PPPC! Thanks to you, we have been busy beyond our expectations. Now it’s time for us to take a break. Boarding will resume Aug 28. Daycare will return Monday Aug 31.
We hope all of you with school age children have a safe and enjoyable start back to a new year of development. We wish all our educators all the patience, supplies and support necessary to continue the students’ journeys successfully.
Thank you again for a fantastic summer. See you after we get a refresh.

Does your dog (or cat) love to join you for yoga? We love going to the yoga studio, especially on these hot afternoons when we would definitely rather be inside.
Sometimes they are under me when I do bridge pose. Sometimes they snuggle next to me during savasana. Someone usually wants to demonstrate their natural downward facing dog. But whenever we go to the studio, everyone eventually finds their calm.
This is just one part of our daily schedule. And since you know it’s the summer here, and afternoon heat is dangerous for some of the regulars, we are peacefully moving away from chaotic energy to relaxing and napping.

Kitties need attention too!
I love dogs. But there is a special place for kitty visits. So many people think it’s fine to leave their cats alone, but I’m a believer they need to know someone is around as well. And scooping the box daily is a good indicator if there’s something going on with kitty while you’re away.
Thank you for trusting me to visit your finicky felines!

We are back!
We celebrated Hunter turning 10! He’s my double digit dude now. Hard to believe. I remember walking into APA and falling in love with him instantly, like it was yesterday. He’s the guy that greets you at the door hoping for a treat or just a pet on the head. He rules the pack. One word from him and everyone else goes silent.
We will continue this big birthday celebration all week. 🎈🥳🦴
And thanks to Addy, a few drop-ins and overnights kept things rolling and allowed the home team a true restful relaxing recharge.

Summer has been going great! I can’t believe we have arrived to mid-July already. The dogs, cats, bunnies and birds are all having a great time getting all the attention we can give 💞
But we all know, there’s no place like home!
Reminder that PPPC is closed July 13-17.
We will see you after a bit of a refresh ourselves.
Fall dates are open for booking. There are plans being made around school schedules. And Thanksgiving week has a waitlist starting.
Stay hydrated, be playful, and eat those treats! We’ll see you back before you need Tommy John surgery from throwing so many balls!

What a week!
PPPC has been here and we've been out there. We tried to accommodate all the request but did have to say no to a few.
I'm so grateful you asked us to be there for your pets. I really do love your paws. Addy and I have enjoyed this week with all the shenanigans. You name it.
And can you find who the winner of most burrs in the face is this week?
