I often tell my folks about this man! Check him out and you won’t be disappointed!
🚨 THEY CALL IT “QUACKERY.” I CALL IT HELPING PET PARENTS.
One year ago, my page was hacked.
We lost 528,000 followers.
Years of work, community, comments, questions, pet stories, and support were gone.
That was hard.
Then came more criticism from the so-called “science-based” side of veterinary medicine.
Books.
Remedies.
Products.
Natural options.
Home care.
Apparently, still on the naughty list.
Not exactly a Christmas card.
But here is the good part:
Many of you came back.
You re-followed.
You shared the page.
You helped rebuild Veterinary Secrets, and now we are nearly at 100,000 Facebook followers again.
That is because of you.
Not critics.
Not algorithms.
You.
Here is why I keep going.
Many pet parents are overwhelmed. They love their animals. They want to help. But veterinary care has become very expensive, and too often the message feels like, “If you cannot afford it, too bad.”
That does not sit right with me.
The veterinary oath includes preventing and relieving animal suffering. So when the ideal treatment is financially out of reach, I still think we should ask:
What can be done?
What is the next best option?
Is there a safe home care step?
Is there a lower-cost approach?
Is there an alternative that may help?
That is not dangerous thinking.
That is compassionate thinking.
Let me be clear.
I am not here to promise miracle cures.
I am not here to say one supplement fixes every disease.
I am not here to tell people to avoid veterinary care when their pet truly needs it.
I am here to help pet parents better care for their dogs and cats at home with practical remedies, better nutrition, preventive care, affordable support, clear explanations, and honest limitations.
Pet parents are not stupid.
They are not looking for magic.
Most are simply looking for help.
And yes, I will keep doing it.
If sharing safe, practical home care upsets some critics, isn’t that still better than staying quiet while pets and people struggle?
