Tech Week Spotlight: The Team Behind the Care
We are blessed to have a truly wonderful team at Aurora Animal Clinic. Veterinary medicine is rewarding, but can be physically demanding, emotionally challenging, and unpredictable. Our team works hard every day to care for your animals, answer your questions, and help you through the good days and the difficult ones. Much of that happens behind the scenes.
To our amazing staff: Thank you! We see the hard work you put in and know the clinic wouldn't run without you!!
And to our clients, we ask you to remember that there are real people on the other side of the phone, at the front desk, and in the exam room. We are here to help and ask that you treat our staff with the same respect and compassion they show you and your animals every day.
Please join us in thanking our hardworking veterinary team this week!

Tech Week Spotlight: Prevention is Part of the Plan
Vaccines, heartworm testing, parasite prevention, nail trims, weight checks, and routine wellness visits all help keep pets happy and healthy.
Our veterinary team helps make these important services happen every day while keeping an eye out for changes that may need a doctor's attention. Preventative care might seem routine, but it plays a big role in protecting your pet's long term health!

Tech Week Spotlight: Caring for Pets AND Their People
Our veterinary team does more than care for animals. The staff work hard to help clients understand medications, explain home-care instructions, coordinate herd health services, and provide guidance on routine care and prevention.
Our staff is here to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your animal's care!

October 18th-October 24th is National Veterinary Technician Week

We love taking this week every year to celebrate not only our vet techs, but our entire hardworking team at Aurora Animal Clinic. We are so thankful to have such a great group of people who work together every day to make caring for our patients possible!

This weekend we kicked off Tech Week with a cookout at Dr. Jones' house and spent Sunday enjoying Silver Dollar City with the gang!

We are incredibly grateful for this team and all they do!

Producers, today is BSE Day!
If you haven't already, please make sure to give us a call to schedule your bulls. Lunch will be served at noon! We look forward to seeing you all there!

Is your bull ready for breeding season?

A bull that isn't reproductively sound can mean open cows, a longer calving season, and lost revenue. Testing ahead of turnout gives you time to identify problems and make decisions about replacements if needed.

Aurora Animal Clinic's Fall BSE Day is THIS Wednesday! Call us at 417-678-3112 and schedule your bulls today!

Fall is finally here, but cooler temperatures don't mean parasite season is over. Fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and intestinal parasites can remain active throughout the fall and winter, so keeping your pets protected is still important!
