We wish you all a very safe 4th of July! Here are some tips to keep your pet safe this holiday!

1. Ensure you give your dog lots of exercise before the fireworks start to go off. This will help tire them out before the fireworks begin.

2. Give pets a safe room in the house where they can feel cozy and secure with window shades drawn.

3. Turn up the tv or the music to help drown out the bangs.

4. Use enrichment toys and treats to occupy their time; think frozen Greek yogurt in a Kong, all natural peanut butter lick pads, or puzzle mats and games.

Remember to keep pets inside as much as possible and keep windows and doors shut and secure, as many pets escape due to anxiety and fear.

Meet Murray! He’s the face behind the brand and the inspiration behind everything we do.

He reminds us every day what pets really need: comfort, consistency, safety, and lots of love!

Murray enjoys meeting and making new friends, going on walks to the park, splashing in water, and digging in the dirt. He’s a chatty hound that was rescued as a pup and he’s never met a stranger he didn’t want to say hi to. He’s wonderful with other dogs and children alike, but he especially loves smaller dogs and can often be found snuggled up on the couch with his best buddies.

If your pet is looking for a cozy, friendly environment with plenty of companionship and belly rubs, Murray is always happy to welcome a new friend.

Honesty Keeps Pets Safe!

May is Petsitter Safety Month. Pet parents, a quick but important reminder… honesty matters!

When working with a professional pet sitter or dog walker, we rely on your pet’s profile to understand their behavior, routines, and health needs.

This helps us provide the best possible care — and keeps your pet, your home, and your caregiver safe.

If your pet has:
• Any medical conditions
• Behavioral quirks or anxieties
• A history of biting, scratching, or reactivity
• Challenges with past pet-care providers

Please don’t hesitate to share that with us.

There’s no judgment — just a commitment to making sure your pet is cared for in the safest, most comfortable way possible.

Open communication allows us to tailor care to your pet’s needs and avoid unnecessary stress for everyone involved.

Thank you for trusting us with your pets — we’re here to support you every step of the way. 💛

Hi friends! It's been a little while since we've posted, but we have been busy doing what we love most-caring for your pets!

For those that may be new here, I'm Heather, owner of Murray's Bed & Belly Rubs, and we provide kennel-free, in-home style pet care across the Denver Metro area. We specialize in boutique, in-home style pet care, with services tailored to each pet's routine and needs.

As we head into the busy summer season, we're excited to be back on Facebook, sharing more updates, tips, and (of course) adorable pet moments.

We are currently booking into the fall, so if you have upcoming travel or need help with your pets, feel free to send us a direct message or email.
