Meet Roz (aka Roczy)

an allegedly 8-year-old sweetheart with a lot of love for her person, stuffies/balls, and sniffing the world. She’s a devoted companion who likes to keep her person in sight, and she’s growing more independent every day - happily relaxing in another room or exploring outside. She loves a cuddle, whether she’s draped across you or nearby gently snoring. She is a big fan of fetch and will generally leave the ball at your feet.

Roz weighs 78 pounds and is working toward a healthier weight. She’s fully house-trained, knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and goes into her crate readily, though she may get a little sassy if she’d rather not stay; she settles quickly. She’s great on leash and enjoys sniffing and exploring, but is taking a break from walks due to an injured toe. She was very patient while her foster treated and wrapped it.

Roz has been tolerant of her foster’s resident dog but may guard toys or sometimes people, and she hasn’t shown much interest in playing. She’d likely be happiest as the only dog. She’s looking for a family who’ll make her a beloved companion - with snuggles, treats, and gentle walks.

Roz’s experience with children, cats, and other animals is unknown. She does best with slow introductions to new people; meeting visitors outside before they come indoors has worked well - she may bark a little when visitors move around inside. Older children (over 10) who can respect her space and follow careful introductions may be a possibility.

If you're looking for a four legged best friend, meet Roz and give this sweet momma the home she deserves.

Meet Sprout 🌱

Sprout is a small, 28-pound Shepherd mix who may be young, but she has plenty of personality packed into her petite frame!

At around a year old, Sprout is playful, energetic, and ready for a home where she can get the exercise, attention, and fun she’s been missing. She’s dog friendly and loves getting to romp and play with her canine friends.

Sprout is the kind of girl who is ready to leave the shelter behind and start learning what it’s like to be someone’s beloved dog. With her small size, youthful energy, and sweet face, she’s an easy one to root for.

If you’re looking for a compact Shepherd mix with plenty of life and love to give, Sprout could be your girl! 🌱🐾

❤️ Meet Sherry

Sherry is a sweet old lady who is looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend her golden years. She isn’t the type to demand attention or constantly ask for pets—instead, she simply wants to be near her person, lying close by and feeling safe. There’s something incredibly special about her quiet companionship.

Sherry is low-energy and pretty chill, as you’d expect from a distinguished senior lady. She enjoys slow, short walks, especially when she can take her time sniffing all the plants along the way. 🌿 She isn’t interested in toys, but she absolutely believes blankets are important. In fact, she takes great pride in rearranging her blankets for a good 20 minutes before finally deciding everything is just right. 😂

She does well being home alone during the day and is comfortable with her routine. She has learned to use little stairs to get where she wants to go and loves sleeping in her foster’s bed, although she is equally happy on the couch or curled up in her own bed—with, of course, plenty of blankets.

Sherry is doing well with potty pads when left home and goes potty outside when she’s out for walks. She eats well and prefers wet food, which is easier for her to chew. And if you really want to win her over, boiled chicken is her favorite treat! 🐔

While Sherry isn’t particularly cuddly, she has a sweet little “puppy” moment when her person comes home. The excitement of seeing you again brings out a little extra pep, and it’s absolutely adorable. ❤️

As an older girl, Sherry does experience some evening restlessness and pacing. Once she settles in for the night and feels secure, she relaxes and lies down with her person. She tolerates cats but would prefer they give her plenty of space and let her enjoy her peaceful little world.

Sherry would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can relax, enjoy her favorite blankets, take leisurely sniffing walks, and simply be loved for the wonderful old lady she is.

And her foster mom, Paula, has something to say about her:

“This girl has my heart in the biggest way and I would love to hear about her new old lady life.” ❤️

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💔 Bingo needs a foster by Wednesday, 10/21, and we’re running out of time.

We’re honestly heartbroken and scrambling right now. We had an approved adopter specifically reach out to tag Bingo so she could foster her. We thought we had a safe landing spot for this girl, but today, with Bingo arriving in TWO DAYS, we found out the foster can no longer commit.

Now we urgently need someone else to step up for Bingo.

This poor girl was dumped by her own owners. They dropped her off at a pet wash for a grooming appointment and NEVER CAME BACK. She was only 8 months old. Imagine being that little, watching your family walk away, and not understanding why they never returned for you. 💔

And you know what? Bingo is still out here trying to climb into people’s laps for treats, sitting pretty for photos, and wiggling her little heart out for attention. She’s a happy, affectionate puppy who wants to be loved. She has so much life ahead of her, and she deserves a family who won’t give up on her.

But right now, she needs a place to land.

PLEASE, can someone open their home to Bingo?

🐾 Meet Bingo ( )
• 9-month-old Staffie mix
• Female, 34 lbs
• Heartworm negative
• Sweet, wiggly, affectionate, and full of puppy personality
• Arriving October 21

We know fostering is a commitment, and we don’t take that lightly. But fostering is also what makes it possible for us to save dogs like Bingo. Without a safe place for her to go, we’re left scrambling to figure out what’s next.

🙏 Can you foster Bingo? If you can’t, please SHARE this post. Your share could reach the person who can give this girl her chance.

Bingo’s first family abandoned her. Let’s make sure her next person is someone who shows up, keeps their promise, and gives her the life she deserves.

We need a foster by 10/22. Please help us get Bingo somewhere safe. ❤️

🐾 Meet Winston (formerly known as Duke)! A puppy at heart looking for his person! 🐾

Winston is a 7-year-old Labradoodle on paper, but someone forgot to tell him he’s supposed to be middle-aged. At 37 pounds, he’s got the looks, energy, and enthusiasm of a dog half his age, and he’s ready to find someone who loves a little personality with their puppy-dog face.

He’ll greet you at the door with zoomies, cover your face in kisses, and snuggle for approximately 30 seconds before he’s off on his next adventure. His favorite hobbies include chewing sticks, collecting belly rubs, and seeing what snacks he can Houdini off your countertops. The bathroom trash? Fair game. 😂

Winston has a big personality, a playful spirit, and plenty of love to give. He’d likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the attention without having to share his favorite humans. He can be protective of his food and belongings, so he needs a home with someone experienced and comfortable managing resource guarding who can provide the right structure and environment for him to thrive.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion with a goofy streak, a face full of kisses, and enough personality to keep life interesting, Winston might be your guy!

Winston needs a foster or adopter willing to give him a chance. Could you be the person he’s been waiting for?

Reintroducing Junie!

Sometimes, life throws a little curveball. An allergy in her previous foster home meant Junie needed to move, through absolutely no fault of her own. But this girl landed on her paws and settled into her new foster home like she had lived there forever.

And if you’re wondering just how lovable Junie is, her previous foster was so heartbroken to say goodbye that she was crying while writing Junie’s bio. She loves and misses her that much.

That’s the thing about Junie. She quietly works her way into your life until one day, you can’t imagine your home without her.

Junie’s Perfect Day

Her day starts with some quality yard time, sniffing every interesting scent and keeping tabs on everything happening around her. She likes being included and is always curious about what her people are up to.

Next? Adventure time! Junie loves walks and is happy to tag along to coffee shops, breweries, patios, and other dog-friendly spots. She might be a little shy when she first arrives somewhere new, but give her a moment to settle in, and her curious, playful personality starts to shine.

She’s wonderful with children and gets along well with other dogs. She may need a little time to warm up, but once she’s comfortable, she’s happy to join the fun.

At home, Junie is an easygoing girl who knows sit and stay, sleeps comfortably in her kennel or on her bed, and has had no overnight accidents. She also enjoys chewing on tree branches, because apparently, no store-bought toy can compete with a good stick.

Whether she’s exploring the yard, joining you on an adventure, or relaxing at home, Junie just wants to be part of your world.

She’s the kind of dog who makes ordinary days feel a little sweeter and a house feel a little more like home.

Junie is ready for a forever family to love her as much as everyone who’s had the privilege of knowing her. Could that be you?

Meet Bee! 🐝

Bee is a sweet little Shih Tzu who is ready to leave her shelter days behind and settle into a home of her own. At 5 years old and about 14 pounds, she’s the perfect size for someone looking for a small companion with a big personality.

Bee has been an absolute doll with the people caring for her. She can be a little unsure when something catches her off guard, but once she knows you, she’s sweet and easy to handle. She arrived needing some TLC and a good grooming, and she’s now feeling much more comfortable and looking like the adorable little girl she is.

Bee would love a patient family who will give her a little time to settle in and then enjoy having a sweet, affectionate companion by their side. 🐝❤️
