Hi there, I'm Punkin and I'll be honest - it will take me a little time to settle in, decompress, and trust new people. It took a couple months for me to relax with Foster Mom and be comfortable that she would respect my boundaries.

BUT ONCE THAT HAPPENED - Foster Mom learned that I love sitting in a lap, snuggling in a cosy bed, and playing with my mousie toys. I will thrive better in a quiet, mellow home and would be fine with a mellow dog, an energetic dog/puppy is too much for me. Once we understand each other, I'll show off my super sweet side.

It's important for my new humans to know my boundaries. I don’t like to be pet hard and sometimes I like to lay next to you or on you without being pet. I wouldn’t do well in a house with young kids, loud busy homes. My new family must be patient and give me time to come around. Also, as many cats, I do not do well with change and need time to adjust.

Hey there, I'm Frankie, your self-appointed, entertainment director. I'm very social with people and my siblings. I'm not very old, but I have figured out some of the coolest things around. My favorite toys are cat dancer toys and little soft balls that I can hunt. Speaking of hunting, I tend to follow my people from room to room - never know when they will need to give me a head or chin scratch & I never want to miss those. Sometimes, I can convince people that I absolutely must have a tummy rub and that activates a while foot thumping thing.

I also enjoy snuggling in soft blankets and grooming my siblings. I found that our couch has a soft little spot behind the cushions that fits my purrfectly. So, of course I like to nest there.

We have been in search of Rescue Rangers and I am happy to report that we have recently had some heroes come to our rescue!

Today we would like you to meet Renee, our Foster Force Sidekick!

Renee has taken on multiple positions and she is going full speed on saving lives! She is our new Foster Onboarding Coordinator (she added 5 new fosters just last week!) AND our new Foster Coordinator Assistant!

She meets with our team every week and helps communicate with fosters daily! She has taken on many other roles including helping keep our pets updated with vaccines, helping coach fosters and helping at events.

We have been very grateful to have Renee on our team! She has many years of experience with a great shelter in Oregon. When she moved to Colorado she was looking to join a local group and she fit right in with us!

Meet Pepper, a handsome gray kitten with a gentle heart and a playful spirit that's shining brighter every day.

When Pepper first arrived in foster care, he preferred to observe the world from a safe distance. With time, patience, and plenty of encouragement, he has been steadily coming out of his shell and showing everyone just how special he is. Each day brings new confidence, new adventures, and a little more of his charming personality.

Pepper loves playtime, especially when a wand toy is involved. Playtime is one of his favorite ways to build confidence and have fun with the people he trusts.

As his confidence grows, so does his affectionate and playful nature. It's been a joy to watch him discover that good things happen when he takes a chance and steps outside his comfort zone.

If you're looking for a sweet gray boy who is blossoming more every day and loves a good wand-toy adventure, Pepper may be the perfect addition to your family.
