Dr. Waskow earned his veterinary degree from Oregon State University in 1995 and practiced on the East Coast for a few years before moving to Colorado. He founded two veterinary hospitals in southeast Aurora before retiring for a life of travel, golf, and Pickleball -- splitting his time between Aurora, CO and Gilbert, AZ. Only a short time passed before Dr. Waskow realized he missed practicing me

dicine and he began helping out veterinary clinics as a relief doctor. Dr. Waskow is a Fear Free Certified Veterinarian with a special interest in dog and cat behavior. He relies heavily on positive reinforcement and low-stress handling techniques when caring for his patients. Dr. Waskow founded Our Housecall Vet in order to reduce the stress that many dogs and cats experience when traveling to a veterinary hospital. He continues to enjoy a semi-retired lifestyle (his Pickleball skills are improving) and is seeing neighborhood pets on a limited basis by appointment.
