🎃👻 Halloween can be spooky—but a missing pet is REALLY scary! 🐾

With trick-or-treaters coming and going, doors opening all evening, strange costumes, and lots of excitement, Halloween can make it easier for pets to slip outside unnoticed.

Before the festivities begin:

🚪 Keep pets safely away from frequently opened doors
🏷️ Make sure collars and ID tags are secure and up to date
🏠 Give nervous pets a quiet, comfortable place to relax
🔎 Double-check that microchip contact information is current
🐾 Keep an extra eye on pets who may bolt when frightened

Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes can still be a concern throughout the fall—and some can survive indoors or remain active during warmer winter days.

🎀🐱 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—and cats are part of the conversation, too!

Cats can develop mammary (breast) cancer, and unfortunately, mammary tumors in cats are often malignant. That makes early detection especially important. 💗

While petting or cuddling your cat, take a moment to check along their chest and belly for:
🐾 New lumps or swelling
🐾 Changes around the ni***es or skin
🐾 Redness, sores, or discharge
🐾 Areas that seem painful or sensitive
🐾 Lumps that are growing or changing

Regular veterinary exams and routine checks at home can help catch changes sooner. Spaying, particularly early in life, can also greatly reduce a cat’s risk of developing mammary cancer.

🎀 This October, remember: those cuddles and belly rubs aren't just about love—they're also an opportunity to notice changes.

If you find a lump on your cat, even a small one, have your veterinarian take a look. Early detection can save lives. 🐱💕

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—and our dogs deserve some awareness, too! 🐾💗

Dogs can develop mammary tumors, and just like with people, early detection can make a big difference.

This month is a great reminder to get familiar with what’s normal for your dog. While giving those belly rubs, keep an eye out for:
🐾 New lumps or swelling along the mammary glands
🐾 Changes in the skin or ni***es
🐾 Discharge from a ni**le
🐾 Areas that seem painful or sensitive
🐾 Lumps that are growing or changing

Regular veterinary exams and checking your dog at home can help catch changes early. Spaying can also significantly reduce the risk of mammary tumors, especially when performed early in life.

🎀 Those belly rubs can be more than affection—they can help you notice when something changes.

If you find a new lump or anything unusual, schedule an exam with your veterinarian rather than waiting to see if it goes away.
