There are horses you bring home.

And then there are horses who arrive and somehow make you feel like they were always meant to find you.

Scarlet has been at War Horse Ranch for just one day, and already, this girl has shown us something remarkable.

She didn’t arrive as a blank page. She came with a story already written into her, knowledge in her feet, experience in her eyes, and a softness in her soul that survived every mile that brought her here.

We may never know every chapter of where she’s been. And maybe some of those chapters belong only to Scarlet.

But that’s the beautiful thing about horses.

Where they’ve been becomes part of what they carry forward.

Every lesson. Every mile. Every person who left something good behind.

And now, Scarlet gets to carry all of it into the lives she will touch next.

Welcome home, beautiful Warrior. ❤️

The earth is waking back up. 🌱
Green stretching across the fields, trees finding their leaves again, and the horses standing quietly in the changing wind.

The old Native teachings remind us: the earth does not hurry, yet everything returns in its season.

After the long hard winter, life always comes back. 🌿

Thank you April, you gave us every season in 30 days.

Sun, rain, mud, snow, hail, sweata weatha, frost and melting temperatures. 👌🏼

And we showed up for all of it.

Sunshine, safe trails, and a little “giddy up” to keep things fun.

There’s something about a trail ride that slows everything down. You can’t rush it, you just show up and enjoy the ride.
