Here is day, three of legging up my stallion, All in Tyme. Way too much time between days two and three because of horse shows and weather and life, but still got to actually get on and ride him today and very happy with the progress!

Results from District Finals today!

Sky and Twister SMASHED their PR in the peewees today by 6 seconds with a smokin’ 32 second run to place 6th in the division!

Shay and Cody also had a heck of a run and they left the second upright! And…. Then hit the third. Absolute heartbreaker but a fantastic run for them.

Then Shay and Steve-o made a run and while it wasn’t the smoothest, they still ended up 3rd in the 3D of the youth. They have certainly had their challenges this year but today was a great step in the right direction for them.

Kendall and Pete also ran today.

😂 it was a rough day for them. Pete had other ideas at the first barrel, and then had a pretty second and third. Their time was poopy and while it wasn’t the run they were hoping for, there is always another race and Pete is very lucky he is so darn cute.

Great season to everyone. Time to reflect, set some goals, a couple horses get some time off, a few don’t coughpetecough and we will be back stronger and better riders!

Thank you to all the sponsors and folks that out on these races, we appreciate you!

And a final photo dump for the weekend…

Results recap…

Sky and Twister ran a 32 and 33 second run respectively and ended up winning third in the Peewee 2D for the weekend. But her goal was to lope, on purpose and on her own. Mission accomplished!

Shay and Cody ran a 17.473 yesterday and a 17.432 today. Her goal was to win the youth,n not hit the second barrel and get better each day. She did not win the youth but she did get the buckle for the 3D average in the youth, she DID NOT hit the second barrel either day and she did indeed improve day 1 to day 2. 🎉

Kendall and Pete ran an 18.7 Saturday and an 18.8 Sunday. They won the 5D of the non-NBHA open race Saturday and came in 2nd in the 5D of the non-NBHA race Sunday. Their goal was to improve on last year’s 24 and 19.8 second runs which they SMASHED, and maybe win a buckle, but a couple of checks will do 😜

Overall a good “end” to the season (district finals next weekend yet). Thank you to everyone who helps get the horses and riders to race day and provides the opportunity to chase these goals ❤️🦊

Shay ended up winning the buckle for the 3D Youth Average for the weekend. A successful trip!

Starting the day off right! Sky and chocolate twist ran a similar time to yesterday and ended up third in the peewees 2-D overall today. They are leaving with a new pair of reins and a goodie bag!
