6 years with daily use, still going strong. Rebuilt in black using the customer's current buckle. Half price rebuilds covers weight changes, color changes, or even BYOB (bring your own buckle).

"Even with the 1.5" edc belt there is no guaranty the buckle will pass through belt loops, it wasn't designed as a belt buckle and the entire clothing industry would have to commit to a universal belt loop regulation sizing code. The male and female portions of the cobra buckle are meant to stay together on one end of the belt when removing/ replacing your belt."

"Hard metal thingy on one end, soft flappy flap on the other" This is not belt 2.0, it's still just belt
