🐾 Random Dog Fact of the Day!

Dogs dream just like humans do! 💤🐕

If you’ve ever seen your dog twitching, paddling their paws, softly barking, or wagging their tail while asleep, they’re likely dreaming. Scientists believe dogs often dream about their daily activities, such as playing fetch, going for walks, or spending time with their favorite people.

❤️ So the next time you catch your pup “running” in their sleep, they might be chasing squirrels, playing at the park, or reliving their best day ever! 🐾✨

WE ARE CHANGING THINGS UP FOR THIS FRIDAYS GOOD CAT/BAD CAT POST

🐾✨ GOOD CLIENT / BAD CLIENT OF THE WEEK ✨🐾

😇 GOOD CLIENT OF THE WEEK:
The wonderful people who read and respect our pets’ warning signs. We appreciate you helping us keep both our staff and clinic cats safe and stress-free! 💖

😈 BAD CLIENT OF THE WEEK:
The people who ignored Leela’s very clear “DO NOT PET — I WILL BITE” sign and tried anyway.

Leela believes rules are important… especially her own. 🦈🐱

Friendly reminder:
🐾 Not every clinic cat wants attention
🐾 Warning signs are there for a reason
🐾 Asking first keeps everyone safe and happy

Thankfully no one was hurt, but Leela would like it officially noted that she absolutely meant what the sign said. 😂

☀️🐾 National Heat Awareness Day 🐾☀️
The last Friday in May reminds us how dangerous rising temperatures can be — not just for people, but for our pets too!

As the weather heats up, remember:
🐶 Never leave pets in a parked car — even for “just a minute”
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water
🌳 Make sure pets have shade and cool places to rest
🚶 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid hot pavement
🐾 If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

Signs of heat exhaustion in pets can include:
⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Weakness or collapse
⚠️ Vomiting or diarrhea
⚠️ Bright red gums

If you think your pet may be overheating, move them to a cool area and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Stay safe, stay cool, and help keep your furry family members protected this summer! ❤️🐕🐈

❤️ Memorial Day ❤️🇺🇸

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. 🕊️

As you spend time with family, friends, and your furry companions this Memorial Day, we hope everyone has a safe and peaceful holiday weekend. ☀️🐾

A few pet safety reminders for the holiday:
🌭 Keep fatty foods and bones away from pets
🔥 Never leave pets unattended near grills or fireworks
💧 Make sure pets stay cool and hydrated outdoors

From all of us at Aidmore Animal Clinic, thank you to those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🇺🇸🐶🐱
