Why do f***l egg counts?
• Identify horses that need more frequent deworming
• Help prevent dewormer resistance
• Evaluate if your deworming program is effective

Sample guidelines:
• Bring fresh manure samples
• About 2 f***l balls or ¼ cup
• Place in a labeled ziplock bag
• Keep refrigerated (never frozen) if collected ahead of time

We wrapped up hunt season the best way we know how — with a fast, wild run across the fields and hounds working beautifully to the very end. It was the kind of day that reminds you why you love it so much.

A huge thank you to the staff who make it all happen week after week, and to everyone behind the scenes who keeps the season running. And of course, the perfect finish: a wonderful brunch shared with even better company.

Already counting down to next season.

Look who got adopted!
Sweet Calipso has found her furever home!
She now has a mom, a human brother and a fur brother!
We don’t know her past history, but we can definitely see her future and it’s full of love, playtime, long cat naps, and yummy treats❤️
To her new mom who is serving in the Navy. From all of us here at Red Barn Cat Clinic we thank you for your service.

Carol and the family & friends gave B*H Master Bud Breed a wonderful sendoff today in his hometown of Paw Paw Michigan. Bud did everything from play football for the Chicago Bears, to 1st Flight Field Master, to loving Family man, to B*H Bartender (a very important roll at the club). RIP Master Breed

First snow of the season and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! The hounds gave lots of tongue this morning and worked hard. What a beautiful day to be out!

Today’s hunt was an exciting one! With the wet conditions, the hounds picked up scent several times and ran in full cry. Enjoy a few photos and videos I managed to capture—though wet footing and an enthusiastic Arabian didn’t make it easy 😝

A few preliminary photos from the Working Equitation Show at Battle Creek Hunt.
