🍂🍁 Falling in love with Jaeger 🍁🍂

Jaeger is a stunning 2-year-old Lab mix with energy to spare and a whole lot of love to give! ❤️ He comes on a little strong at first (he’s just excited about life 😂), but after a good walk, he settles down and reveals himself to be a big, silly baby who just wants to be loved on.

This handsome boy would make an amazing adventure buddy!

His biggest fear? 👻 Big, loud dump trucks. Those things are suspicious, okay?!

With a little training and patience Jaeger has all the potential to become someone’s perfect companion. He’s got the looks, the personality, and a heart just waiting to be loved.

Bruce's Happy Tail!
Yesterday, Bruce celebrated his very first Gotcha day with his mom and honorary aunts! 🐾❤️
A year ago, Bruce was a heartworm-positive boy waiting at the shelter for his furever home. Today, he’s heartworm-free and living his best, most spoiled life!
From a picnic in the park to presents (including an adorable handmade card with his face on it!), yummy treats, endless cuddles, and lots of love, Bruce had a day all about HIM! Which is everything this sweet boy deserves 💕

Thank you from coming all the way from the Pacific Coast to adopt him!

ATTENTION CSRA!! THIS HORRIBLE SCAM IS HAPPENING AGAIN!
There is a horrible predatory scam that cycles through our area every so often and unfortunately it is going around again.
The scam targets people who have posted to Facebook communities or Pawboost about a lost pet. The scammer will contact you and claim the dog is at AAS, badly injured, and will demand payment over the phone for medical treatment.
We do NOT do this!!
AAS does not accept payment over the phone and we do not accept Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, etc. Our only methods of payment are cash or credit card. Payments are only accepted in person at our shelter.
We may contact you if we believe a pet you have posted matches a pet we have at the shelter, but we will always ask you to come down to Mack Lane and visually identify your pet.
Please do not pay anyone claiming to be us over the phone. It is not us.
We hate seeing people who love their animals taken advantage of!!
