Arizona showed up at a home in SC begging for food for months. Unable to locate any owners and, because the home owner was already max out on the number of animals she could adequately care for due to her heart disease and her husband's dementia, she reached out to us for help with placement.
I named her Arizona due to her desert colors and she is absolutely the sweetest girl. She wants all the love and attentions. She has been spayed and has combo tested negative for feline aids and leukemia. even though she was found outside, she never tries to go back outside. https://bit.ly/fofadoptionapplication

Jasmine came from a property in which the home had burned down and was a total loss. We thought Jasmine had perished in the fire because despite the dozens of times we went to the property to catch all the loose cats, she was never located. Over two months later Jasmine came strolling back on to the property with her 3 kittens. Her kittens are now being socialized due to the lack of human interaction. Jasmine is as sweet as can be and has adjusted well to indoor life. She has now been fixed and tested negative for feline aids and leukemia. https://bit.ly/fofadoptionapplication

I'm at the point where I just want to cry for Carla. I'm not the best fit for her and she's been miserable for months. She's not a huge fan of other cats, but she will tolerate them if they give her space. She really wants love and attention in a small cat household. She's gentle and affectionate and I can tell that she's miserable and not relaxed in my foster home with all the young cats and kittens. She'll sit in the corner or find a spot to get away from the other kitties.

Her backstory: Carla was kept as an outdoor cat. The couple that owned her got a divorce. First the wife and child moved away and did not take Carla and then a year later the husband moved away and just left her outside to fend for herself. For weeks, she waited on the porch hoping they'd return to feed her.

Carla faces significant adoption challenges due to her age of 8 years and FIV positive status.
She exhibits cautious behavior around other cats, growling and non-contact swatting when they approach, but refrains from EVER actually attacking. FIV positive cats like Carla can thrive in multi-cat households. The condition is not transmissible through shared litter boxes, water bowls, grooming, or food dishes. Carla is up-to-date on her veterinary care, spayed, and microchipped.
