Apparently Nicole’s plan for world domination is working…and honestly, I’m here for it. ❤️
I’ve been lucky enough to sit down with Nicole from Uptown Pup two years in a row now, and watching this wonderful human grow her business has been SO rewarding. From the beginning, Nicole knew she wanted Uptown Pup to be different.
She didn’t want to simply send someone by to take your dog for a quick walk, fill a food bowl and head out the door. She wanted to raise the standard for professional pet care in our community. And y’all…she has done exactly that.
Nicole and her incredible Uptown Pup crew aren’t just people who love animals. They’re trained pet care professionals, and Uptown Pup is a member of Pet Sitters International, following established industry standards for professional pet care. Her team also receives continuing education—including training related to medical care, behavior, wellness and enrichment—because Nicole believes the people caring for your pets should never stop learning.
Every visit is intentional. They provide GPS-confirmed arrivals, detailed updates, potty and behavior tracking and thoughtful reports so you’re never sitting somewhere wondering, “Is my baby okay?” And just as importantly, Nicole understands that you’re trusting her team with TWO things that mean an awful lot to you: your pets AND your home. Uptown Pup is licensed and insured, has emergency protocols and backup support in place, and is built around consistency, communication and individualized care.
I think Nicole says it best:
Loving animals is the baseline. Knowing how to properly care for them is the expertise.
THAT is the difference.
Nicole, I’m so proud of what you’re building, and I can’t wait to see where this whole world-domination thing takes you next!
CSRA, if you need someone to care for your pets when you can’t be there, go check out Uptown Pup. Ask questions. Learn about their standards. See why professional pet care really does matter.
Because our pets aren’t “just pets”…and the people we trust with them shouldn’t treat caring for them like just another side job.
Shop local. Support local. Trust local professionals. ❤️
