Black dog and cat syndrome is very real and they often linger in shelters or tragically never make it out.

HE'S BEEN WAITING SINCE MAY 27th FOR SOMEONE TO PICK HIM.........

Nobody can understand why he's still waiting for his freedom ride at Augusta Animal Services in Augusta, Georgia. His name is PUMPKIN and he's the cutest, sweetest boy with so much love to give. In a previous post on this shelter's FB page, it said that when he's first let out of his kennel he happily runs around the yard to get his excited energy out in the play yard, enjoying his freedom.Shelter life is hard but you can see in this special boy's eyes there's a spark and a lot of joy there. Afterwards he shows his softer side and he turns into a total love bug, rolling over and soaking up belly rubs!

PUMPKIN is two and a half years old, weighs 50 pounds and has a beautiful brindle coat. He's neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. What more could you want? This pup is such a gem! Adoption fee is $65.00 and for senior citizens and military just $50.00. Please share to help him find his special person and finally get the forevever home he deserves! Adoption hours are Monday thru Saturday from Noon to 4:30 pm.
