We are excited to be taking this 2 year old filly to the Old West Futurity Horse Sale in October. She’s a full sibling to “A Relentless Buzz” - Trevor Brazil’s 2025 futurity horse.

Been some busy evenings working around our new place. Got lots of gravel spread, Got the barn walls done, garage door opener installed, barn scraped and ready for concrete, wash rack is done and ready for concrete, tore out some old cattle fence and getting ready to build new pipe fence - also getting ready to fence a 3 acre trap east of the barn. We bought a nice round pen that our good friend Michael Reeves is cleaning up and painting for us. It’ll have an 8’ solid steel side wall (should be tough to escape). Glad some of the prep work is done. Excited to see how it all comes together.

“Mistress” has been here 7 months. She’s to a point now where I feel like I can start expecting her to be accountable for how she carries herself. Starting c**ts is an art. Taking one to the next level is also an art. We can’t ride a young horse like a young horse their whole life. We have to constantly be striving for “straightness” and “simplicity”. No manipulation or tweaking. It’s as simple as, I pull and kick and you find the right answer.

Yes we start a lot of 2 year olds. But we are thankful that people are also trusting us to take them to the next level. Thank you to the Stellpflug family for their continued business.

This gelding is going to go become a rope horse. We’ve enjoyed having him around and we are thankful for Christian Fischer leaving him with us. Look forward to seeing him down the road.
