Round pen coming soon… I had plans of building a permanent round pen at our new place but after some thought, I decided I wanted to either build or buy a portable one. One heavy enough to take a beating but easy enough to tear down that I could move it if I ever wanted to. Our friend Michael Reeves found us exactly what we wanted. It’s got a solid 8’ wall and it’s built to use. He’s been rebuilding it for us and is getting it close to done. I finished up the pad today that it’s going to sit on. Excited to see it when it’s finished and thankful to Michael for doing such good work.

We are home from a long weekend in Amarillo TX. We are thankful for the opportunity we had to have this filly in our program for her 2 year old year as well as to go down south and show her off. Thank you to the Stellpflug/Weil family for having faith in our program.

Loading up “JR Phoenix” and headed to Salina Kansas this morning. His dad won $500,000 and his mother is a daughter of That Sly Cat. If you’re looking for a good, gentle, young prospect that is Riata Buckle Eligible, here he is. He’s seen the ranch and the arena. Has 60 days riding.
