Our sweet senior girls soaking up the sun!☀️

Some of you might have never known that we even had cats as we always had them in their own room when we had client dogs in boarding at the old house (which was like everyday for 6yrs straight🤪)

Now that we’ve moved they get to have free roam of the whole house again! To say they love it is an understatement.💖💜

We’ve had Cookie 🍪 for 9yrs and Nia for 7yrs! Both girls are rescues. We got Cookie from Hickory Hollow and Nia off of the streets.🕶️

These sweet senior ladies deserve all the sunshine, comfort, and freedom in the world, and we’re so happy they get to enjoy it!☀️🏡💖

And of COURSE we still have Mr. Pickles the cat that came with the purchase of our house! Unfortunately, Mr. Pickles still has some litter box training to work on before he earns his indoor privileges.😵‍💫😅🚽Until then, he’ll be holding down the fort as our daughter’s personal security guard while we’re outside. 🚔👮‍♂️💙

Our goal is to have Mr. Pickles box trained before the cold winter hits❄️ but if he just doesn’t take to it I guess he’ll be the bougiest outdoor cat with a heated and cooled cat house🏡 in the backyard where he’s safe from predators🦊, frigid winds🥶and extreme heat🥵.

Even though we have a quarterly spider treatment scheduled with a company, occasionally we will find a wolf spider here ...

Even though we have a quarterly spider treatment scheduled with a company, occasionally we will find a wolf spider here and there! They work hard to kill any pesky brown recluse that might find their way inside during wet and cooler weather! Completely harmless and earn their keep? I’ll take it!🕷️

The real win in life? Having a husband who loves your clients dogs as much as you do!

My client dogs aren’t just dogs or a paycheck to me…they’re little souls I get to love, care for, and become a part of their lives. They hold such a special place in my heart, and seeing my husband love them too means more to me than words can explain. I also love watching the dogs love him right back! Even the ones who might be a little unsure of him at first, he never rushes them or forces their trust. He gives them patience, space, and the time they need to feel safe. And when those nervous ones finally come around and decide they like him you would think he just won the lottery with how happy he gets!

To say I’m blessed and thankful is an understatement!🩵
