We have lots of critters here in the farm. Here is one of our newest additions, a baby mourning gecko that hatched in our paludarium.

Mourning geckos are super cool because they reproduce through parthenogenesis. That’s a cool sciency word that means they reproduce without males.

Yep. You read that right! All mourning geckos are female. They clone themselves when they lay eggs!

Isn’t that cool?
