🐾 Today is the last day of National Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾

I hope you all had a wonderful week filled with love, appreciation, and reminders of just how much you mean to this profession. You make such a difference in the lives of our furry patients and their families every single day. 🐶🐱

I hope you felt celebrated, valued, and appreciated for all the hard work, compassion, dedication, and heart you put into caring for our four-legged friends. 💕

To all veterinary technicians, thank you for everything you do! You are all amazing, and the veterinary world wouldn’t be the same without you. Never forget how important you are and the incredible impact you make every single day! 🩺🐾💖

🐾💙 Dr. Sara had the wonderful opportunity to meet and speak with first- and second-year students in the NDSU Veterinary Technology Program at a recent job fair.

It was a great opportunity to connect with aspiring veterinary technicians, learn more about their interests, and share insights about working in veterinary medicine.

We look forward to welcoming students to Aurochs Veterinary Service for shadowing opportunities and externships, where they can gain valuable hands-on experience and continue developing their skills in the field. We also hope to connect with future veterinary technicians who may be interested in joining our team! 🩺🐶🐱

Thank you to NDSU for providing this opportunity to connect with the next generation of veterinary professionals! We look forward to helping students grow in their careers and possibly welcoming some of them to the Aurochs Veterinary Service team in the future.

🐾💙 Employee Spotlight: Jaycee Haverkamp! 💙🐾

Today, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Jaycee Haverkamp, our receptionist and veterinary assistant! 🐶🐱

Jaycee plays an important role in helping our patients and their families feel welcome and cared for. From greeting clients at the front desk to assisting with patient care, we appreciate all she does to help keep things running smoothly at Aurochs Veterinary Service! ❤️🐾

Jaycee joined the Aurochs Veterinary Service team in September 2026. Born and raised in Minnesota, Jaycee has a passion for animals and brings previous experience working in animal shelters, as well as animal boarding and training.

She is excited to continue growing her knowledge and skills as part of the Aurochs Veterinary team. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to seeing her continue to learn and grow in her role! ❤️🐾

Outside of work, Jaycee enjoys hiking, swimming, crocheting, watching scary movies and crime shows, and spending time with friends and family. 🧶🌲

Jaycee is grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves and looks forward to continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Her passion for animals and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful addition to our team!

🐾💜 National Veterinary Technician Week: Employee Spotlight — Kari Bolgrean, LVT, CCRVN! 💜🐾

Today, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Kari Bolgrean, Licensed Veterinary Technician, CCRVN, and celebrate her dedication, experience, and passion for veterinary medicine! 🩺🐶🐱

Kari earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from North Dakota State University in 2007. Since graduating, she has worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the Fargo–Moorhead area, gaining extensive experience caring for a wide variety of species.

Kari has a special interest in senior and geriatric patient care, surgical nursing, and client education. In March 2022, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse (CCRVN), further expanding her knowledge and skills in helping patients recover, improve mobility, and maintain a great quality of life. 💜🐾

In March 2026, Kari joined the Aurochs Veterinary Service team, and we’re happy to have her experience and compassion as part of our team!

When she’s not caring for patients, Kari enjoys life in Moorhead with her beloved pets: Tucker, her loyal Golden Retriever; FynnLee, her spunky Chiweenie; and Wilbur, affectionately known as “Orange Pants,” her domestic shorthair cat. 🐕🐕🐈

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the lake, fishing, relaxing in the woods, hunting, and four-wheeling. 🎣🌅

🐾💙 National Veterinary Technician Week: Employee Spotlight — Toni Grabinger! 💙🐾

This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Toni Grabinger and celebrate her many years of dedication to veterinary medicine!

Toni joined the Aurochs Veterinary Service team in January 2022, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She graduated from the NDSU Veterinary Technology Program in 1991 with the program’s first Bachelor of Science degree! 🎓🐾

Over the course of her 35-year career, Toni has worked at six different veterinary clinics across Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Her longest tenure was at Maplewood Veterinary Animal Hospital, where she spent 23 years before the clinic closed.

When Toni isn't caring for our furry patients, she enjoys life on the farm south of Lake Park with her husband, Steve. Together, they have two adult daughters, one dog named Runa, and two cats, Rose and Bagheera. 🐶🐱❤️

In her free time, Toni enjoys gardening, bird watching, and spending quality time with her family. 🌻🐦
