July has been Crazy for both boarding and grooming! Here's most of this weekends guests. What do I do in my spare time...I'm taking online classes to hopefully help dogs through nutrition! It's definitely been an eye opener and a very deep dive into what we feed our furry friends

Weekend grooming is going to be changing. I know I've spoiled everyone doing weekend grooming all day Saturday and Sundays. My husband is starting a new job and won't be around much except on weekends, I haven't quite figured out how things are going to go yet, but I do know my weekend grooming hours are going to get drastically cut. I will keep all pre booked appointments the next couple of months as we figure this out. This will not affect boarding hours or grooming Monday through Friday. Thank you, we appreciate all of you!

I know I didn't get pictures of them all, and some loved playing in their water after being outside, so some are a mess, but we had 60 dogs boarding out here this weekend. Cleaning alone is taking 4 hours a day so I didn't always have a phone on me, but here's a few of them....

Sometimes working with dogs is like dealing with a screaming child having a tantrum lol. A large doodle did not want to go back in the kennel after playing outside. So I picked it up and carried it in, as you can see its head butts left a few marks. I told my husband this is how rumors get started, at least our high school helper Macey was there to witness it 🤣😜

Going into my 40th year of grooming, I never really count the amount of dogs I see, so for fun I counted...In June 255 dogs and 4 cats came to see me for grooming, 116 dogs came for boarding and most of the boarders were here for several days. (And I thought it was a not so crazy month)... As you can see by the picture Walter feels neglected since I'm in the shed more than I'm with him 🤣 Thank you from our small business for the support even if Walter doesn't approve, but it does buy his bark box monthly

Boarding drop off and pick up hours ...We do not have drop off or pick up times on major holidays....if we ok it ahead of time it will be a specific time we set and there is an extra holiday charge added. Normal Saturdays drop off/ pick up times are only 8-10 am. Sunday 8-10 and 4-5 Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30. Outside of those times must be approved and an after hours charge is added. These are. These are the same times/rules we've had the last 6 years just posting a reminder. Grooming times are by appointment so those appointments may be outside of the boarding times
