Our Ego is our chatty friend, always trying to do right by us and improve our chance of survival.

However, most of the time we don't need our Ego to fight for us, we don't need it to keep reliving the past, and we don't need it to keep reminding us about how bad the future could be. Our Ego, which is part of our human nature, keeps our mind occupied with thoughts about the future or the past, but this locks us out of the present moment.

Take a moment between thoughts to be fully present. In that moment there is peace and reassurance that, in that moment, everything is ok.

In that moment of peace, make plans for the future without trying to get there.
In that moment of peace, feel the depth of your true self, free from labels and forms.
In that moment of peace, take a breath and let go of your sense of identity.
In that moment of peace, realize that your opinions and beliefs are not who you are.

You are pure energy experiencing this physical world through a human body. How beautiful you are!
