🐾 CAT SPAY & NEUTER APPOINTMENTS 🐾

4 Directions Veterinary Services will be at DeKalb Humane Society on Friday, September 25, for another round of cat spay/neuter appointments!

Appointments are limited to:

🐱 10 female cats
🐱 10 male cats

Spay/neuter: $105 per cat
Rabies vaccine: $10 additional

‼️Dog at Large in Ashley IN‼️

Someone called in about Two large dogs running loose in Ashley IN. Last seen at corner of Indiana and Morgan. Dogs are black and white and look like they could be huskies. They are also running with a white poodle. No photos Available.

🐾 COURTESY POST — TBONE NEEDS A HOME 🐾

Tbone is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/German Spitz mix looking for a home where he can be the only dog.

He is a big sweetheart who loves people, children, and even cats—he simply does not get along with other dogs. Tbone is house-trained and will whine when he needs to go outside. He may have some vision loss and cries when left alone, so he would love a family that can give him plenty of companionship.

Humane Fort Wayne is offering SATURDAY surgery appointments for outdoor community cats.

🐈 Community Cat Packages:
• FREE for Allen County residents
• $50 for residents outside Allen County
• For outdoor free-roaming cats only

Each package includes: a spay/neuter surgery, Rabies vaccine, microchip, pain medication, and mandatory ear tip!

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED FOR BECKY WITH THE BANGS 🚨

Look at that little face. 🥺 Becky with the Bangs is looking for a new foster home, but she needs someone who understands that trust isn’t going to happen overnight.

Becky is very scared and needs a quiet, calm environment with a dedicated foster who is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to decompress. She isn’t looking for someone to “fix” her in a few days—she needs someone willing to sit nearby, let her observe, build a routine, and allow her to come around at her own pace.

She may spend some time hiding. She may not immediately want affection. And that’s okay.

What Becky needs most is:

* 🏡 A calm, predictable home
* ❤️ A patient, understanding person
* ⏰ Time to decompress and learn that she is safe
* 🐾 Someone willing to celebrate the tiny victories—the first tail wag, the first time she approaches you, the first time she decides the couch might actually be pretty great

Sometimes fostering isn’t about taking home the easiest dog. Sometimes it’s about being the person who finally shows a frightened dog that the world can be safe.

Becky needs that person.
