BARK stands for Basic, Advanced and Reformed K9 and specializes in obedience and reforming problem behaviors for your canine companion. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and offer private lessons tailored to your dog's needs. I am also an accredited Canine Good Citizen evaluator through the American Kennel Club and a canine handler with Cayuga County Highland Search and Rescue. Please message me with any questions.

Do you know where your dog is? When your dog is on leash and you're busy what is your dog doing? Are they sniffing? Pulling? Eating something off the ground? Nosing into somebody else's business? Orrrrrr.... are they waiting patiently and calmly next to you? Teaching a dog to remain calm controlled next to you is one of the best universal skills and one that you will use the most I'm sure. Kaska and Auggie were NOT given an obedience command, nor a stay command, they've chosen to get comfortable until their owners are ready to go again.

Tater did so incredibly well at a new location, we've been switching it up pretty weekly. I was so proud of him passing new dogs, walking very calmly with his "friend" dogs and even getting crashed into face first by a dog on a flexi lead with no reaction from him at all.
