The good news is…..everyone is okay. The bad news is….the rescue vehicle may be totaled. We have a mechanic/body man coming to look at it tomorrow. We may need to do a fundraiser for this one.

Rey2. The cat distribution system sent us a little life. About 5 weeks old, barely eating wet food (more milk than wet), hates the kennel. Was found all alone at a gas station in the next town over at 10 o’clock on Sunday night. We were the only ones that would answer the phone or the door. To be fair, he called 5 times, and texted once. I answered the text. She’s the sweetest thing ever. Loves to cuddle, loves to stop Momma from sewing.

It’s here! I can’t say enough nice things about it! It was super easy to put together! And it’s huge. The only thing I can think of is maybe the doors could be a little bigger. I think the fat cat can still get in and out. I need to see if he uses it before I make any decisions about forcing him inside. I don’t want to force him but he’s a senior cat and winters can be rough. If he’ll use the house, I’ll let him stay outside as long as it’s not too bad.

Look what was gifted to us! Can’t wait to get it here (supposed to be here tomorrow) and give our two outdoor cats a place to get in out of the weather. Not that they don’t have a place now but I think this will be nicer for them. This has emergency exits for them for safety. And three separate places for them to sleep. Mocha is unofficially ours now since his human has moved off to college. Her parents still live in the neighborhood but they don’t like him at all so they are not caring for him. He doesn’t want to come in the house, he likes being outside. At least this will give him someplace to stay warm and dry in the winter time. I hope the other feral will use it too. Chekov is our newest community cat to show up. He’s here every morning for breakfast and looks like a Russian blue, hence the Russian name.

I’ve about had it with FB not publishing my posts! I’m so sorry that it looks like I’m not posting, I promise I’m trying to get pictures and updates out to you guys. But FB is fighting me tooth and nail! I’m going to try scheduling posts to see if it works any better.
