☀️ Summer Gold N Grand 2026 ☀️

It was a busy weekend for Allen’s Performance Horses, although our crew was a little smaller than usual, with Chantel off in Tahoe attempting the Tevis Cup 100-Mile Endurance Ride, we had a smaller group make the trip off to Gold N Grand.

Even with a smaller crew, the team brought home some great results and, more importantly, had a weekend full of learning, fun, and great rides!

🏆 Brook Harper & World With In
Brook and her mare World With In had a great weekend in Walk/Trot English 14–18, finishing in the Top 5!

🏆 Emersyn Forcier & Double Shot O Whiskey
Emersyn borrowed her mom Tami’s horse, Double Shot O Whiskey, and the two made quite the team! They took Top 5 in Ranch Riding Flat 13 & Under and went on to earn Reserve Champion in Ranch Reining 13 & Under. What a weekend for this pair!

🏆 Tami Forcier & Double Shot O Whiskey
Tami and Double Shot O Whiskey also had a strong weekend, finishing Top 5 in Amateur Ranch Reining and earning the Circuit Champion title in Amateur Ranch Reining!

🐴 Dave Berry & Hank
Dave and his gelding Hank got their feet wet this weekend, making their show debut! They jumped into the Walk/Trot Amateur Ranch Reining and had a great time learning the ropes, gaining experience, and figuring out what this whole show thing is all about.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who came out and represented Allen’s Performance Horses this weekend. From seasoned competitors chasing championships to first-time exhibitors stepping into the arena, it was a great weekend of horsemanship, learning, and fun.

Congratulations to all of our riders, and a huge thank-you to the families, supporters, and horses who make these weekends possible!

What an incredible weekend at the Back 2 Basics horse show at the stunning Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta! MJM Show Services absolutely knocked it out of the park once again, delivering another fun-filled event that had everyone smiling from ear to ear.
Our amazing crew for this show—Elizabeth Jorgenson showing Little Miss Gunner, Vanessa VanDyke showing Shoot Hogh Aim Low and Double Bright Diamond, Weston VanDyke showing Shoot High Aim Low, Chantel Allen showing Russian Wrangler, Shoot High Aim Low and Little Miss Gunner Steven Allen Jr. showing Stars Don’t Snoke and Got Strawberry Wine and Steven Allen showing Double Bright Diamond and Shoot High Aim Low—had a blast competing in working western rail, ranch riding, reining, and ranch trail. The energy was electric, the horses were on, and the vibes were pure joy! Goals were reached and a few personal bests were beat! 💪 💫

As promised another quick update! We successfully went out to the last two West Region Endurance Rides of the 2025 season: Red Rock Rumble and Camp Far West. It was exciting to introduce a few newcomers to the sport; Samara, Jocelyn and Teagan, have a hunch they have each caught the endurance bug! While Chantel & Steven Jr rode two of our own promising up and coming horses. Both events (as always!) were exceptionally well-managed and provided for a fantastic experience for everyone!

Hey friends — I’ve been seriously behind on updates (oops!), but 2025 has been a great show year. 🏆🐴
From firsts to breakthroughs, everyone has grown so much — and we’ve made memories that’ll last a lifetime. From dozens of buckles won, countless ribbon’s, quilifying for year end awards and wolrd shows.
We’ve got a few final events coming up before we close out the year, and will share the recaps.
Huge thanks to our sponsors who made it all possible — your support means everything. 🙏
More coming soon.
