So today we had an incident with a doodle owner that is no longer welcome to come back and it just made me so upset that I feel i need to make this post. We all love the doodles fuzzy and how cute they are but at some point humanity and safety and health of the dog have to come first before vanity . This client had not gotten her doodle puppy groomed at all beside a face feet and f***y at Christmas with us at least and was extremely long and extremely matted every where but his back and top of head . My girl called owner and talked to her and gave it a haircut mind u it was short owner picks up and is crying and upset because the dog looks different and I tried to explain it will grow back etc and it escalated from there and i refuse to apologize for grooming this puppy if that gets me a bad name then so be it but what these owners dont understand is that thos matts will eventually cause sores hot spots or get so tight that it will hurt the dog let alone trying to dematt it will traumatize him as hes still a fairly young baby. We truly do love your animals and try to do what each owner wants but sometimes it just isnt feasible and I may not have handled it right I am only human at the end of the day but I do care about your pets and there heath and happiness matter the most over a haircut anyday . ♥️

🐾 Pet Pals Grooming Reminder 🐾

As we head into our busy season, we encourage all of our customers to call ahead and schedule appointments early. We are currently booking more than a week out, and appointments for households with multiple dogs are often booking 1½ weeks or more in advance.

Please don’t wait until your pet is overdue for grooming to call, as we may not have immediate openings available.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you for trusting Pet Pals with your furry family members! ❤️🐶

2 standard size poodles looking to be re-homed. Sassy- black and white
George- white

2 years old, current on their shots and getting their next round in May.
They can be separated if needed. They are very friendly, playful, and think they are big lap dogs. They do great with kids. Haven’t been around other dogs besides their own pack
