Twin Lakes Pet Resort & Spa is a dog boarding and grooming facility. We are also partnered with the Veterinary Clinic next door, Twin Lakes Pet & Bird Clinic. We are looking to grow our team and hire a third groomer.
Duties:
• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or pet owner preferences
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions
• Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and a**l gland expression
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for pets
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and preferences
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of previous Pet Grooming Experience
• Knowledge of various grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs and/or cats
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and body language
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
