Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
I liked today’s message today and it was ALSO use to hear and I feel that’s why despite my husband’s addiction, I remained faithful to Roger Alvarez and to our family.
“Be devoted to one another in love”
Because his “drunkenness” was “evil” but my husband was not evil, our marriage was not evil and our love was real. And most certainly, I was not perfect.
God values marriage. ❤️
The pastor’s sermon at Yosemite Church just reminded me that PEOPLE are not evil, the devil is evil and sometimes people do evil things but even those people deserve our love and devotion.
I am grateful for all the time Jesus gave us with my husband- EVEN THOUGH it is ever going to feel like enough to me.
But, also grateful I attended Grief Share GriefShare first before hearing today’s message because I still need a place to help me through my grief with others that understand. Anyways, thank you for Grace for me and my family. ❤️
