What is a guardian home??

In our guardian home program, we place our breeding prospects (Misha) with a family. Breeding rights and ownership will be retained by Crow River Pups until Misha is retired from our program. Once she is retired we will pay to have her spayed, full ownership is transferred to the guardian family and they get to keep Misha forever.

Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have Misha as a family pet while she remains in our program. Puppy fee is waived and you will be paid for each litter. Misha will have a maximum of 4 litters.

Through our guardian program, we are able to ensure that our dogs get to live the best lives in a loving and caring home where they receive as much one on one attention as possible!

Why consider becoming a guardian home?

🐾 Puppy fee is waived
🐾 We pay for all health testing
🐾 You receive $$ for each litter your guardian dog has for us (4 litters max)
🐾 Built in dog-sitters when you vacation
🐾 We pay to spay her when she is retired from our program

💜 Meet Ms. Purple!

Ms. Purple is a happy puppy - her wagging tail never slows down! This sweet puppy will light up any room she enters. If you're interested in training a dog for therapy work, Ms. Purple has excellent potential 👍 Why might she do well as a therapy dog?

6 weeks old!!

The puppies have already had a BUSY week!!

⭐ Vet visit! All 4 puppies are healthy and will be ready to join their families when they're 8 weeks old ❤️
⭐ First round of vaccinations ✔️
⭐ Temperament testing ✔️
⭐ Crate training continues!
⭐ We're keeping up with the daily handling exercises!
⭐ The puppies have been spending a lot of time playing outside in the puppy play yard 💕

Saturday families are visiting to choose their puppies! The families have copies of the pups' temperament tests to read over so they can make an informed decision when they choose their puppy.

5 weeks old!

What have the puppies been up to??

🌸 The puppies have been enjoying playing outside!
🌸 They are now eating soaked kibble. No more mush!
🌸 The puppies are starting to learn to potty outside 👍🏼
🌸 Crate training is in full swing!
🌸 Nails trimmed again ✔️
🌸 Daily handling exercises continue
🌸 The puppies have had lots of visitors!

Coming up next week:
Wellness exams, first round of vaccinations, temperament testing, families visiting to choose their pups... It's going to be a busy week!!

What have they been up to this week??

⭐ First meal of mush!
⭐ Nails trimmed ✔️
⭐ Deworming #1 ✔️
⭐ Spending most of their day with Jovie's Lottie ❤️
⭐ Potty training has begun. They're already using the potty trays most of the time!
⭐ Toys!
⭐ They have graduated from ENS and ESI - daily handling exercises have begun 🥰
