The Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter (FAAS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization, who donates our time and hearts to the Cats and Dogs in Attleboro and surrounding communities. We are committed to nurturing and promoting the animal-human bond and creating a community where our relationship with companion animals is guided by compassion. Our dedication and c

ommitment is achieved through adoptions, community awareness, fostering and caring for companion animals until loving homes can be found. Our Vision is to reduce the number of unwanted animals through community Spay and Neuter programs, Low Cost Vaccination Programs and Micro-Chip events all while raising awareness and promoting responsible ownership.We are deeply committed to these goals while ensuring the financial security and stability of the organization for future generations. Each year, hundreds of abandoned companion cats and dogs looking for a second chance in life are successfully placed in loving homes through adoptions facilitated by FAAS.

The team at Central Ave Veterinary did it again! Our pup Arlo was in a medical foster home with tech Ashley! We all knew how much Arlo loved her and she loved him ❤️. The staff decided they were going to surprise Ashley by gathering the adoption fee and gifted her a wonderful big basket full of everything one needs for a dog and today it happened....Arlo is officially adopted by Ashley and we couldn't be any happier for the two of them!

We are on empty with ProPlan sensitive stomach (lamb or salmon). If you are out and about, our canine kids would be so grateful for a full tummy ❤️

Team FAAS has a member down! She/we need your prayers and positive thoughts!

Debbie Desrochers is a phenomenal volunteer, she also is the team leader for all our Fundraising! Debbie is in ICU with Heart Failure and she is running out of options.

Debbie is the kind of person that would stop anything she is doing to help an animal, she has a heart of gold. Team FAAS needs her to fight this fight with all her might!

Debbie, we love you! Please stay strong, you have a powerhouse praying for you ❤️
