Too tired to fight the vacuum tonight, so I chose to retreat instead.

After a lot of snoozing for most of yesterday, the roommates and I went to celebrate Father's Day with some great dads in our lives. Once we got home I got right back to snoozing. Here's a checklist of everything I already accomplished today, before my late breakfast around 7:30a:

Zoomies all over inside ✅️

Chased a squirrel in our driveway ✅️

Chased birds on the sidewalk ✅️

Peed and pooped(and not in that order) ✅️

Chased a squirrel up a tree in the park, while barking like a demon dog from the furthest depths of Hell ✅️

Chased a baby bunny coming back across the street ✅️

Scared a squirrel so badly while doing my demon dog act that it almost fell off the fence it was running along ✅️

Charmed all of the drive-thru staff at Starbucks ✅️

Got a pup cup ✅️

With plenty of exercise already and a full belly, I'll probably spend most of today curled up(or belly-up) in various rooms throughout the day.

Too tired to even play with my toys after all the fun I had today...

I spent most of today snoozing, but after dinner the 3 of us went out for ice cream! I made a bunch of new human friends(my favorite was a little girl who was so excited to meet me that she started petting me before she even finished asking if she could! 🤣) and the little doggy that was ahead of me who is usually scared of other dogs was pretty comfy around me. I started getting a little antsy(meaning very vocal) as we got closer to the window but I eventually got my cup of whipped cream and finished it before the roommates even got their ice cream. I made sure to es**rt Mumma and the rest of the ice cream to the car(hoping some of it would be for me), then pretty quickly passed out on the drive home.

Don't mind me, I was just doing my happy dance earlier because I'm having a sleepover tonight. That's right, by the time I get picked up tomorrow it will be my 8th straight day seeing Grandpa Mac!

Somehow I conned Chauffeur into bringing me by Grandpa Mac's for a brief visit this morning making it SIX straight days seeing him! Last time that happened was several years ago when they went on vacation without me. From there, I had a luxurious spa day at DP Canine Emporium LLC where I left looking incredible and with a brand new toy! After a brief pit stop at home I went over to hang out with Grandpa Bob and Nala for a bit then headed back home and straight to bed.

Day 4: Chauffeur came to pick me up so I tried to blend in with Grandpa Mac's chair. It didn't work. Shortly after we got home I tried to fight against falling asleep, but I lost...by about 7:30p.
