Underdog K9s Training & Resources CPDT-KA, ABCDT, Fear Free Shelter Certified, Aggression in Dogs Master Course, L.E.G.S
Teaching humans, dogs, and shelter professionals.

In-home training, boarding, shelter dog evaluations & shelter staff/volunteer training. Underdog K9s utilizes positive reinforcement training because there is a science behind behavior change. Owners learn how to communicate with their dog, to identify behaviors to reinforce, and minimize the reinforcement of behaviors they don't want. The goal is to create a trusting relationship between dog and owner, strengthening the bond to create harmony in the home. Just like anything, it takes practice and I am here to help! My heart belongs with shelter dogs and shelter staff. I provide dog evaluations for shelters along with staff training and seminars.

How many puppies can we get in playgroup? There’s nothing better for the soul than a good ole fashioned puppy playgroup! 🥰 Ainsley getting adopted at the end was the cherry on top!! 🍒

All of these incredibly precious, playful, cute babies are available at Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center

I’m super excited to roll out the Confident Connections Class with volunteers and dogs at Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center! Every Monday volunteers are helping timid and fearful dogs build confidence through positive practice meet-and-greets, preparing them for successful introductions with future adopters.

Marmalade here made wonderful progress today. Her tail was glued under her the first time she joined us a couple of weeks ago and she’d flinch at most movement. She still has a way to go but we are confident she’ll be a rockstar for a meet with adopters now!

Today was a good day! Our playgroup rockstar Crimson finally found his forever home! Thanks to Force Free Dale Dog Training for always bringing him into playgroup and helping him stay sane while waiting for a family to finally pick him. He hit it off with his new ‘little’ big sister and was cozying up to his new dad right off the bat! 🥰🥰🥰

A compilation of playgroup from earlier this week at Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center ❤️💜💙 All dogs are available for adoption!

Each pairing/group is different depending on each individual dog’s social skills. It’s always a good feeling when we have a rockstar group we can add others to as we go ❤️
