So I don't really like bring sad or negative things to Facebook anymore but I need help. Saturday while I was 2 1/2 hours maybe 3 hours away at my uncle funeral my 7 yo nephew video called me to say Scrappy is gone. I'm struggling to not be angry or fall into depression but I'm missing my 8 month old puppy. He is a miniature schnauzer mix with miniature pinscher. He is very shy around people. If you stay around Hollywood Rd and Bankhead please be on the lookout for him.

Urgent adopter or foster needed by 07/28/23. Tubby is not doing well in the shelter environment and we have run out of placement options. She needs a home as soon as possible.

Tubby has been in our care since December and is really struggling with shelter life. This two year old, 50 pound girl is an extremely people-oriented dog. Unfortunately, Tubby does not enjoy being around other animals, which is challenging to manage in an extremely crowded shelter environment. Tubby really enjoys just being with her person and is very cuddly and affectionate. She loves baths and has even taken a nap in the tub during bath time. Her ideal home is one without other pets or children. She hasn’t done well with other animals and small kids might be overwhelming for her. She loves rolling around in the grass and would likely enjoy a fenced yard to run around in. Tubby needs to find a home as soon as possible. Can you help?

If she is unable to find a home, euthanasia is the only humane option for her. She needs your help to leave the shelter immediately.
