3yr old male available. For experienced owners. Would be good for sports or athletic active home. Leash and crate trained. High energy but still obedient. I don't want to let him go but just dont feel im doing him justice. I have several other males I'm currently focusing on in my program and open to letting him go to the right home. Leptospirosis (lepto) is a deadly, fast-moving bacterial infection that can be contracted from interaction with contaminated still water, like puddles and soil. Lepto can cause kidney and liver failure and be life-threatening without prompt treatment.

Dogs often contract it by:

Drinking from or splashing in puddles or standing water

Licking paws after walking on contaminated surfaces

Exposure to wildlife in parks, suburbs, or backyards

WHY IS LEPTO AN EMERGENCY?

SIGNS OF LEPTOSPIROSIS

Mild symptoms progress rapidly!

Increased drinking or urination

Loss of appetite

Severe lethargy or depression

Abdominal pain

High fever (normal for a dog is 101.5F degrees plus or minus a degree)

Jaundice - yellowing of skin, gums, or eyes

Vomiting or diarrhea, which may contain blood

Prevention is easy:

Vaccinate your dog, if you live in a humid area

Keep your pet away from standing water

Limit exposure to wildlife or rodents

Bring a portable bowl and fresh water on walks & hikes

Leptospirosis is treatable if caught early.

The goal for this breeding is to produce healthy, functional Staffords with solid temperaments. As always, our focus remains on a pure-at-heart, working form of the breed: intelligent, capable, and with a steadfast mindset.

I expect standard-sized Staffords who will excel in sports and make wonderful companions. The parents complement each other. Dolly is a Dynamite-bred bitch with a mix of Steadfast lines. The sire, Stetson, is linebred on Augustus (Gus), who is also a Dynamite-bred male. I chose this pairing because even though Dolly is Dynamite-bred, Gus is not in her pedigree. Because Stetson is linebred on Gus with a mix of Steadfast lines, I expect a solid linebreeding on type and temperament—focused on overall traits rather than a specific individual.
