Misty Acres is home to rescued horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, cats, and more. We are a sanctuary for our animals, providing a safe haven for life.

Don't worry, we didn't forget Mocha!

She had her very own five-star vacation at home thanks to Auggie and Parker. Seriously, best pup sitters ever! 🏆
Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our girl! 🥰

🏠 There is truly no greater peace of mind than knowing the sanctuary is in the absolute best hands while we’re away.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to Emme and Summer for taking such incredible care of the Misty Acres Farm family so Tony and I could get away for a dear friend’s wedding! 🤍

Running a sanctuary takes a village, and we are so incredibly blessed to have these two in ours. From early morning feedings to endless head scratches, thank you for loving these animals as much as we do! 🌾✨

Quick update on Naomi!

She is slowly gaining weight and I'm proud of the sweet girl.
We are upping her Prascend dosage to 1 tablet / day instead of a half tablet. Hoping this will help her system regulate.

Farrier is coming in 2 weeks and I'm excited to get her hooves looked at too.

We will keep her on her regular schedule now with her own special diet, upped meds, and see how her weight gain progresses!

Note: I am contemplating clipping her for the summer. It will help her stay cooler underneath this very thick Cushings coat! Have to do more research first. More to come.

🎂💝 HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY, SUNDAE!!! 🎂🍰

Sundae, you've changed my life and the lives of so many who have had the joy of meeting you. You inspired not only our rescue foundation, but our therapeutic programming too. None of Misty Acres would be here without you, Sundae 🥹

20 is TWO decades old, Buddy!!

You made it out of racing and made it to safety and you've been inspiring us ever since.

We're also 6 years post-op from colic surgery.

We did it, buddy. I'm so proud of you, and I'm so proud of us.
