I’m so full of gratitude from my time at Atlanta Plant Fest last weekend. Shoutout to Pink Pothos for organizing such an incredible event. I was surrounded by my favorite type of people: PLANT PEOPLE! 💚

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my booth with questions, smiles, and interest in what I’m growing. Your support means a lot to me! I hope to connect with new & familiar faces at future pop-ups. I’ll share that information here and in my monthly newsletter (link below). 🌻

It’s been a little while since I last posted, but June Apple Nursery is very much here and growing! 🌱

Looking back at our spring plant sale in May reminds me why this work matters — the community and seeing so many plants head off to new homes was a highlight of the year. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us!

Even though seedlings won’t be available again until spring, I’m already preparing for what’s ahead. I’m excited to share updates and seasonal tips with you as we move toward another growing season.

Thank you for sticking with me! I’m glad to be back. 💚

Anise hyssop is a garden staple! 💜 It's a native perennial and a great pollinator, attracting bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies. Its leaves and flowers are edible, with a licorice scent that attracts many people and repels deer. Anise hyssop has long been used in traditional herbal medicine by Indigenous groups, like the Iroquois who were said to make a wash from it to relieve itching associated with poison ivy.

If you'd like to establish anise hyssop in your garden, it is available for purchase on our website.

The first daffodils have sprouted at June Apple, signaling the arrival of spring and warmer weather. Daffodils are beautiful in the way that they symbolize renewal and hope. We're holding close to that message as we move into a season of new beginnings. 💛🌼

Coleus was one of the more popular plants among our community last year. Our customers loved it because it provided a pop of color in shady areas of their yard. It also provides height and textural interest when designing floral pots and planters.

We will continue offering coleus this year to support your shade gardens or planter designs. Our plants will be available for purchase this spring! 🌞
