Red’s Fall Fest is back for its 3rd year!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Farm for another afternoon celebrating fall, Farmer Red, and this special little corner of our community. Come hang out with neighbors, catch up with old friends, make some new ones, and enjoy a beautiful fall day at the farm!

We’ve got some gorgeous pumpkins ready for their fall debut! Whether you’re decorating your porch, creating the perfect fall display, or just love a good pumpkin, we’ve got you covered! 🍂

🎃 Large Cronus (classic orange) pumpkins: $25 each — these are BEAUTIES with great stems!

🍁 Smaller heirloom & novelty pumpkins: 2 for $20

🧡 Large novelty pumpkins: $20 each

We’re so grateful to be awarded a grant from Park Pride for our tree mapping project!

We're proud to award over $20K in funding to nine Friends of the Park groups across the City of Atlanta and DeKalb County! 🎉 These annual Small Change Grants will power improvement projects in these beloved neighborhood parks:

💚 Barker Bryant Memorial Park
💚 Delano Line Park
💚 Flat Shoals Park
💚 Glen Emerald Park
💚 Historic Fourth Ward Park
💚 Orme Park
💚 Red's Farm and Nature Preserve
💚 Vermont Park
💚 Zonolite Park

From invasive species removal and native plantings to erosion control and tree care — these neighbor-led groups are working hard to improve the parks their communities love.

🌳 Do you know what trees are growing at Red’s Farm Preserve?

Join UFO and certified arborist Dave Butler for a guided tree walk on Sunday, July 12, at 8:00 a.m. and discover the incredible trees that make our preserve so special.

Dave has spent more than 35 years working in the environmental field and now runs his own consulting arborist business. He has served on the boards of organizations including Birds Georgia, the South Fork Conservancy, and Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, and is passionate about sharing his love of trees and the natural world. He’s also the proud grandfather of three (soon to be four!) grandchildren.

Whether you’re a tree enthusiast or just curious about the nature in your neighborhood, we’d love to see you there! 🌿
