💔 This is the side of breeding that nobody wants to talk about…

This puppy was rescued from a breeder in heartbreaking condition. Severely matted, noticeably underweight, and reeking of urine. 😢 No puppy deserves to live like this.

Breeding is MUCH harder than most people realize. It’s more than putting two dogs together, producing cute puppies, and collecting a check. It requires time, money, knowledge, proper nutrition, veterinary care, grooming, sanitation, socialization, and DAILY commitment.

And to those considering becoming breeders, please understand that these are living, breathing animals that depend on YOU for absolutely everything. Their well-being should always come before profit.

As a groomer, I’ve seen firsthand what neglect can do to an animal. While we can’t change this puppy’s past, we can help give this baby a much brighter future. ❤️🐾

This transformation is about so much more than a haircut. It’s about comfort, dignity, and a fresh start.

Please, breeders, DO BETTER. These babies deserve better. 🐶❤️

He’s curious, HIGH energy, adventurous, and has been the leader of the pack since day one! He’s always the first to investigate something new, start the fun, and convince everybody else to join in on his shenanigans!

He’s got a BIG personality in a little body, and he’s definitely going to keep his new family entertained! ❤️

All of his siblings have found their forever homes, and now it’s Chip’s turn! 🏡🐾

He’s looking for a loving, active family that’s ready for plenty of puppy kisses, adventures, and a little bit of chaos! 😂

Well, in my client’s defense… it DEFINITELY doesn’t look like the inspiration picture. 😭😂

BUT IN MY DEFENSE… the amount of TIME, PRODUCT, and DYE that went into this transformation?! BABYYYY! 😩💀

And after ALL that work… the client HATED IT! 😂

This is EXACTLY why I don’t typically offer custom color matching!

Creative grooming is an ART, but mixing colors to recreate a shade from a picture is a whole different science experiment! 🧪🎨

It’s ALWAYS easier to select the exact shades you want from the colors we actually offer than to have us mixing, praying, and hoping for a miracle! 😂

Sometimes you nail the vision. Sometimes the vision nails YOU! 💀

At the end of the day, the dog was safe, the effort was REAL, and the lesson was LEARNED!

Now I need y’all to settle this…

Named after the iconic Chip from Chip ’n Dale, this handsome little guy is officially the LAST PUPPY AVAILABLE! 🏡🐶

Chip is an adorable Afghan Hound × Standard Poodle mix with a personality just as cute as his name!

He’s been raised with lots of love, attention, and plenty of pampering. And of course, growing up in a groomer’s household means he’s no stranger to getting spoiled and looking his best! ✂️🐾

All of his siblings have found their forever homes, and now it’s Chip’s turn! ❤️

And THAT is why dog grooming costs what it costs! 😂💩🐩

When was the last time you pooped on your hairstylist’s table, tried to bite them, refused to sit still, or needed your private parts cleaned? EXACTLY! 😂

Let’s talk about grooming prices for a second!

Just like human hairstylists, not all dog groomers charge the same, and that’s perfectly okay!

Pricing can vary from salon to salon based on experience, skill level, location, the time required, the dog’s size, coat condition, behavior, and the services being provided.

Some groomers have 2 years of experience, while others have 20. Some can complete a groom in an hour, while others may need three. Experience, efficiency, and expertise all play a role in pricing.

And remember, we’re not JUST cutting hair. We’re bathing, drying, brushing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, handling unpredictable behavior, and sometimes cleaning up a little surprise like THIS! 💩😂

The cheapest groom isn’t always the best, and the most expensive doesn’t automatically mean the best either. Find a groomer whose work, experience, and care you trust!

Now excuse me while I sanitize this table. AGAIN. 😭😂
