Never been to our shelter before? Today is a great day to change that!

Right now, 38 dogs need placement by 8 PM tonight, and we’re hoping to connect them with people who can welcome them into their homes.

Our shelter is caring for more than 400 dogs, and every one of them has their own personality, needs, and potential to be a great companion. Whether you’re ready to adopt or interested in fostering, our team can walk you through the options and help you find a dog who fits your lifestyle.

You don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking for before you arrive. Sometimes, the right match is the dog you haven’t met yet.

If you’ve been meaning to visit, make today the day. 38 dogs are counting on us to help them find a place to go tonight.

Could you imagine being a dog at the shelter?

Everything you’ve ever known changing in a moment. Suddenly, you’re in a kennel surrounded by unfamiliar faces, unfamiliar sounds, and people you don’t know.

You become another dog at the shelter. Another face people walk past. Another set of eyes watching, hoping that someone will stop long enough to look a little closer. To look into your eyes and see more than just another shelter dog.

Someone who sees your personality, your heart, and all the love you have left to give. Someone who sees you and wonders why you’re not in a home of your own.

But day after day, people walk by. And you’re still there, waiting. Hoping that maybe tomorrow, someone will finally see you.

You can be the person who changes that. The person who looks a little closer, falls in love, and turns a shelter dog into an adopted dog.

Want to change a dog’s story today?

Come meet the dogs waiting for someone to choose them at Fulton County Animal Services, 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30336.
