We’ve been granted an extension until 8:00 PM tonight for 9 dogs who are still waiting for a safe place to go. Every extra minute matters, but they need adopters or fosters to step forward now.

These dogs have been waiting patiently, hoping their person will walk through the door. A foster home can save a life, and adoption gives a dog the fresh start they deserve.

🚨 FRANKIE (formerly Durzog/ollie) NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨

Many of you remember my sweet foster Durzog — now Frankie — the sweet boy who spent months very sick and overlooked in the shelter at Dekalb County before finally getting his chance at a beautiful life. ❤️

My AMAZING adopter, Erica, transported him all the way from Atlanta to West Virginia to give him the loving home he deserved. She has gone above and beyond for this boy and refuses to give up on him.

But something is VERY wrong.

Despite multiple vet visits, special food, supplements, probiotics, cleaning supplies, beds, and endless care… Frankie is getting worse, not better.

Current symptoms:
• Extreme hunger & thirst
• Cannot gain weight
• Eating grass, sticks, mulch & even soil
• Accidents in the house
• Eating his p**p
• Inflamed stomach
• Not digesting/absorbing nutrients properly

This is NOT the adopter’s fault and NOT Frankie’s fault. He was very sick in the shelter for a long time and unfortunately did not receive all the testing and care he truly needed before adoption.

We are now facing extensive testing, overnight observations, medications, specialist care, and potentially surgery.

This post is not for medical opinions — we are working closely with vets. We are simply asking for help.

Instead of giving up on him or returning him like many people would, Erica is fighting for him every single day. So please… let’s fight for him too. 🙏🐾

If you can donate ANY amount toward Frankie’s vet bills, we would be forever grateful. Every dollar helps this sweet boy get closer to answers and healing.

Thank you SO much to everyone who offered to help, shared Hulk’s post, tagged friends, and helped spread the word. This community is truly incredible and I am beyond thankful.

Because of all of you, Hulk is safe and won’t have to go back to the shelter while I’m away. We are so grateful for the love and support. Thank you for always showing up for these dogs 🐾
