As I sit here this evening, Im wondering how we can better accommodate our fellow local equestrians. We have gone to great measures to be able to have adequate stalling, arena space, and quality jumps. We really would love to be a local venue for some easy practice to take place for our fellow H/J barns but that doesn't seem to be happening so, we are welcoming your opinions! Should we focus more on the local dressage shows? Maybe just local cheaper fun shows that aren't IHJA approved? We aren't really set up for western events. Maybe more clinic type events? What would you like to see more of around Central Indiana? This facility can host a great events. I'd really love to share it with you all.

It was a great week in HITS Chicago for everyone! Tons of improvement from all three duos this week and we couldn’t be any prouder.

Some highlights:

🏅Tessa and Louie: 🥇 in two of their 1.20 jr/am classes resulting in champion and 5th in the 1.25 classic!

🏅Elsie and Paul: many top placings in the eq and placings in the Large Junior Hunters as well as getting 3rd in the handy!

🏅Meiana and Monica: 🥇in the pony hunter schooling U/S, 8th in their first 2’6 derby, and top placings in their O/F!

I can tell you without a doubt, this is a fabulous place to have your kids. The atmosphere is nurturing and fun but don’t let that fool you. Brandy really knows how to coach and get the best out of the riders and horses in a supportive and caring way.

Yesterday we had a very unexpected loss of our best boy Rooney. He taught so many good lessons to everyone that rode him and we know so many loved and will miss him. We are thankful to those that were at the barn and helped surround him with all the love in his final moments. We will miss you dearly Rooney.

Our painting party was a huge success last weekend! We had a ton of people show up Saturday and we got through a lot. Thanks to all who showed up to help you are the reason our barn family is so great! We still got a couple more things to do but all the jumps look better then they ever have!
