Four other nice looking hides Peanut can use but he only wants this shoe.

We took it out for a couple months hoping he'd use one of the other hides that don't look as dorky in his tank. But the second I put the shoes back in, he crawled right in, it's soft and cozy in there. The shoe wins. 4 foot long snake snuggled in one child size shoe.

I couldn't add a this video to the previous post, but this was taken at Repticon today, here's a coastal carpet python that's very similar to ours. This one is just a few months old. Carpet's are slow growers compared to other large snakes like Red Tail Boas. But this one just looks so cute and small compared to ours that's nearing 4 feet.
