Us pretty puppies had our first car ride, and our first vet visit! The car ride was pretty relaxing and we mostly slept, but the vet visit was a little bit concerning. Do not recommend the thermometers, but everything else was Ok. We are all healthy, perfect, and perfectly behaved pups! We didn't piddle anywhere at all. Do not believe anyone who tells you otherwise. We are 6 weeks old now, and the bestest Hokkaido-ken pups in the USA, right now!

It's a Pupdate! We're all 5 weeks old and growing like weeds! This weekend our world got bigger and better with lots of new toys and space to run and play. Even Mina-Mama plays with us, and it is so much fun. Food is becoming more interesting too, although we still prefer milk. But Mama doesn't like our sharp teeth so much, so we have to learn to be more careful. Pokku, Waji and Kuro are doing fine. They play outside, but Tall Person and Small Person are a bit tired and don't get as many photos of them.

The pups are three weeks old and growing like little sprouts! Their eyes and ears are opened and they are taking in the world now. Mina is doing great as a Mama, although she is already growing tired of the shenanigans. One they're really mobile all heck will break loose.

On April 24 at the 23rd hour, Mina had two baby girls, Red, and Brindle! And on April 25, shortly after the start of the day, she had, a big healthy black and tan boy. Mina did a very good job and is being an excellent Mama!

We're roughly a week out! Mina is showing a bit of a baby bump now. She is doing well too. Can you see how many pups? Also one cute shot of Pokku and Mina sharing a chair for once. They will be separated shortly though.

I got something unexpected in the mail the other day. I started crying. I am really not deserving of this. I will work harder now. Our yaezakura are in bloom! Then it rained and threatened to lose all the blooms. But we managed to get our annual Sakura photos before they are all gone. This time the girls did great! Pokku and Mina both looked at the camera for .5 seconds! Kuro did NOT eat the flowers, although he tried, and Waji just made weird faces. I am happy we got some nice photos.

It's time for Tohoku Nozomi Flower Dogs! Some have flowers in their Brains! ²Kuro you cannot eat them! Go stand by the red maple instead. The sakura have started to bloom but we have to get photos when Tall Person is around or there will be too many shenanigans. ⁵Pokku if you put your head in the flowers, there will be pollen. Mina, please sit or stand next to the flowers!! 💧 Close enough I guess...
