📣Vet Tech Week: Staff Shoutout!📣
Everyone, say hi to Clarissa (and Honey).Clarissa is one of our newest members, joining the team at the beginning of 2025. Clarissa has primarily functioned as our main assistant, helping run our surgery schedule, tech appointments and room teching as well. In the last couple of months though, she has been working on technical skills including blood draws and IV catheter placement and she is KILLING IT! Clarissa is such an empathetic, kind, funny member of our team. She has the biggest heart, and we see it daily through her work. We couldn’t be luckier!

This sweet gal is Kasey. Kasey joined the team back in 2023, bringing with her many years of technician experience, as well as her gained experience as a breeder and competitive dog trainer & shower.Kasey works primarily in the back as a technician but fills in up front as well, being a great triage receptionist!
Kasey is such a positive person and has more strength than I can even express! We are so lucky to have her here. ♥️

📣 Vet Tech Week: Staff Shoutout! 📣
This is Lilyan. Lily started with Northwoods in 2022 as an assistant. Her only experience was 4H, but she quickly mastered handling, X-rays and assistant duties. She was then moved into the technician training, where she soared! She is very fluent in blood draws, catheter placement room protocols and anesthesia. In the past year, Lilyan’s pharmacy knowledge really proved to be above standards and she was moved into the inventory manager role. Lily has been such a blessing to our clinic, patients and clients and we couldn’t be more excited to get to celebrate her this week with our other amazing ladies. Thank you, Lilyan!

📣 Vet Tech Week: Staff Shoutout📣
This is Debi! Debi has been with us since 2019, but has a long history of working in the vet med field. She has worked large and small animal, and has so much experience! Debi is one of our primary anesthesia technicians, so you’ve likely seen her at checkout after surgery. Along with that, she’s floating through the hospital performing lab work, giving vaccines, drawing blood and running appointments. Debi has been such a dedicated employ, coworker and friend. She always brings such a loving energy and we couldn’t thank her enough.

Meet Katie! Katie has been with us since 2022. She started with us as an assistant, with 4h and farm experience helping her a lot the way. Quickly, she climbed the ladder and now is an incredible technician. You could find her running anesthesia, performing dentals, taking lab samples or working your scheduled appointments with the doctors. Katie has been an amazing addition to the clinic and we have been so lucky to have her. We love you Katie!

📣 Vet Tech Week: Staff Shoutout!📣

Everyone, meet Hannah. Hannah has been with Northwoods since 2020. She has a long history of animal background, being in 4H through her youth, and studying large animal science in college.
Hannah operates as our lead in the back, helping to delegate & direct, while making sure all of the daily “to-do’s” don’t slip through the cracks. She is an amazing technician and is often the one cleaning your dog’s teeth, drawing your pets blood and/or everything in between. We all LOVE Hannah and are so grateful for her every day!

🐾❗️Northwoods will be closing early today ❗️🐾
Phones, medication pickup and scheduled appointments will still be available until 4:00pm, however after that, our doors will close until Monday morning. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As usual, we recommend the EVH of CDA or Family Pet Urgent Care in Ponderay for after hours care. Thank you for understanding!
